I learned this naturally being 110kg all up with a Top 80 and cheap 125cm wood prop launching from a limited LZ at a mates property. Did this many times, on nil wind days my success rate was about 66%, where I abort otherwise. The small property leaves no quarter. At the airport, I could run forever, legend has it I'm still running.

I have a titanium rod in my femur due to not giving myself enough runway when I was a beginner pilot.
