What's always interesting about Sunderland Away is the huge variety in accents. I was at Oxford United a couple of seasons ago for The league Cup and it was the Poshest away following ever!! Lots of people who live way closer to the away ground than the home ground.
Do you honestly think being a big club helps in this league?the league doesn't pay enough to support big clubs neither does championship ones you drop out of parachute payment your done.Wednesday are only in this division because of a points deduction for spending and we spent 50m less then Norwich last year. Birmingham where 1 game away from going down size doesn't matter money matters and you don't have any.
what people need to remember aswell about this is last season our last 9 league games when we were going for automatic promotion we won once in 9 games and then lost in the play offs lee johnson should have been sacked end of last season!

Tuesday was absolutely the straw that snapped the camels back for me.. & Jumbo has my piss boiling to volcanic proportions… On that note & even though he’s now favourite for the Newcamel job, incidentally a job i believe he’d fail in, I’d like to see Howe in our dugout simply because he has a proven track record at this level & managed to get the absolute maximum out of a load of run of the mill players, with little funding & mediocre support… arguably he stayed at Bournemouth too long & wouldn’t be the answer top level but under Jumbo we are an absolute million miles from ever reaching that level & I can’t see that changing any time soon… His interview post match Tuesday was absolutely ludicrous, it was an utter cringing, contradictory embarrassment.. He spent Saturday nights corporate cliched interview banging on about it being “men against boys” & having to “make BIG changes” & then sends out basically the exact same “boyish” side, bar 2, the absolutely abysmal Gooch & Hokey Kokey Evan’s & the other change “dynamic winger” O’Brien being forced on him because of McGready.. but then comes out Tuesday & bangs on about us needing to “stick to the philosophy” & accepting that “we have to be patient because we are a young side & so we’ll obviously make mistakes”… So which “Philosophy” exactly is it.. “Making BIG changes” or sticking with “Boys against men”…??? Its certainly an impossibility to be both… & just shows how much utter shite this balloon actually spouts… He’d honestly make an absolutely superb politician, all buzz words, utter bluff & complete bollocks & seeing him constantly whinging & whining on to the fourth official really gets right on my tripe… while as for his assistant, my lord if he was chocolate he’d absolutely scran himself.. more interested in his tan lines than tactics… It’s not just about this season though, I haven’t forgotten last season & for me, enough bluff is enough, he says he can’t change anything until January… more BS, could he not have started Alves & made a 3 with wing backs..??
