The Super NES was a 16-bit upgrade follow-on to their earlier hit console, the NES, that seem to be so much better than the original NES and this is coming from someone who had that briefly, maybe too briefly, but still since I played a handful of NES games, I honestly just can get into the NES the same way as others did as I don't find their games to be as good and I do mean that they're not bad, but the 16-bit generation of consoles truly got me into gaming in comparison.
I've tried hooking up my SNES with the AV cable and the RF switch, but neither seem to be working. My SNES comes on, but there's no picture on the screen. I've tried changing the channels, but no dice. Any idea what might be wrong? I would greatly appreciate any tips.
First of all, great video! Second. Which converter did you use for the Nintendo Jr which is what I have? The one with the hdmi? I want to get my Nintendo Jr running again on my hd tv. I’m trying to avoid ordering the wrong one and get it right the first time. Any info would be great. Thanks!
I have the original super in tendo I’m trying to hook it up to my new Sony smart TV and I only have the cable that hooks up to the cable and I’m only having Wi-Fi I can’t seem to be able to find the channel to change the three or four on my TV to connect itYour video video was very awesome that you explained very detailed anytime everything and I truly appreciate that thank you
Does your TV accept HDMI? Then you just need a "AV to HDMI converter" which costs a mere $10. As long as you have the original SNES AV (red, yellow, white) cables, you simply connect them to the three colored ports of the converter, provide power to the converter as instructed, and connect a HDMI cable from the converter to the TV. I have a SNES Jr (unmodded) and got mine working nicely on a Vizio smart TV which accepts HDMI input but has no AV input.
I just bought a super nintendo yesterday, and I had to order the AVHMDI adapter I don't have the middle connection I don't have the rf part that goes in there... is that all I need to play my game system?? Because on the side of the AV adapter it says something about HMDI INPUT, do I need that as well??? Please help me I'm so lost... And thank you
To play SNES on a modern TV, most of you should only need a "AV to HDMI converter" which costs a mere $10. I wasted so much time watching videos like this where people advertise SNES-to-HDMI converters that connect directly to the SNES port. Those are more expensive, are susceptible to lagging during play, and (according to the product pages) don't even work on certain models of SNES. The AV to HDMI converter option should work for everyone with no lag. Plus, it could be used to connect other old AV devices to modern smart TV's. If anyone has success with this please comment.
Yep I've tried that on my LG smart TV and added channels 3 and 4 and it won't come through. I'm out of options. These smart tvs just don't wanna work with the old stuff
I think there might be something wrong with my snes because the power supply and av cable are connected but it says I have no signal. Either that, or I'm missing something important or something is broken
Do the av cables are plugged tightly in? If the yellow cable is too loose then it won’t show the signal. If the av cables have a fourth connection that is black then please lmk.
I’m in 2020 and I needed this cause I wanted to reamber when I was a little kid playing this
Yeah same i loved playing super Nintendo

I’m having the same issue. I connected the RF adapter into my Samsung smart tv and the sources show a tv but no channel related to consol.
Hi there! I have a small vizio tv and does not have the side AV. Is there any way I could still hook it up? Brings back so many memories. Thanks!

I believe rf cables are for crt tv’s. Consider buying an av cable online

All cables are tightly plugged in and there is no 4th black cable
Necesito el cable de video para super nintendo jr. Envías para otros país (Chile)
when you do it with the rf cable what channel does it have to be on or? none of you guys doing these reviews go over that???????????
I always used channel 3 but I believe it's what works better on your TV like channel 3 or channel 4.. because channel 3 is clear and four is not
I agree. When I hooked mine up I get a message saying that the signal can't be recognized.
There's the switch on the back for channel 3 or channel 4. Make sure the switch matches the channel you're on. I use 3
Este aparelho funciona em tv sntiga
7:04
SNES jr 4:00
Thx
Way too slow. Omg....
Disagree. He was very thorough and clear. You can always speed up the video up to 2x speed
zoomer mentality. go play fortnite
Id like to see someone hook up RF and get it to play on a stupid fucking Roku tv... I've tried every single way and the Roku settings suck big balls!
I gotta Toshiba firestick tv & cant get it going
I have a roku tv and got mine to work. But yes it's a pain in the ass
Let me know if you ever figured something out.
@@NatiLiteomg how?? I’m stuck with my Roku😭
