    Insightful, thoughtfully presented, and your passionate pursuit of quality experience in fragrances is honestly refreshing. Artistry is found through the senses, which take time to hone and shape to our own appreciation. This video is one of your best productions, phone ringing and all. Big Thanks!!❤

    Finally someone admits musk aoud smells like bakhoor. A lot of the rose oud scents smell like bakhoor that I burn daily. I’m glad I’m not the only one that noticed it

    • @FoodnFragrances
      @FoodnFragrances  17 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Haha you also have to see not many people may have experience with Bakhoor. Lol I’ve grown up with it, so the connection makes a lot of sense. But I’m glad you find it the same ways. Musk Aoud really does remind me of that and I love it :)

    Hello!
    I'm a collector & I was sent this link to this video from a former collector. I've a few jinkoh Store frags myself,one being *SUNSET IN ASSAM. While I'd agree with you about it's quality,It's not my favorite of those I own from the brand.
    It's number 3 of the 3 that I currently own. The others being Sunset in Kyoto & sunset in Tennessee. Others I have coming are sunset in Maroc & Aprukotto, Vintage affair & possibly Sunset in Hainan.
    Who knows. My thoughts on ASSAM may change over time,as frags have the ability to grow in you. Thanks for vid. I really enjoyed it & agreed with much of what you said. I've subscribed,so I'll now be tuning in to hear your thoughts on various frags. Thanks again & Happy Holidays. A2

      Personally I love the chocolaty nuance of Assam, but my favourite so far is Hainan. Hainan is just ridiculous. Also don’t forget to check out their niche collection, tobacco noir, oud noir and amber noir. All are really good options too.
      I’ll definitely get a review out on Hainan, it’s just an emotionally charged fragrance for me, something that hits home for me.
      Much love and thank you for dropping by!

      Hello!
      Thanks for response. I actually own tobacco Noir & Oud noir they're definitely high quality. In regards to Hainan, Brand owner(*Marius) said it was in the same Vien as Kyoto but much better. If you've smelled Kyoto,would you say this is true? I'll be looking for your review on it. A2!

    • @FoodnFragrances
      @FoodnFragrances  18 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @ I’ve smelled both, I personally prefer Hainan over Kyoto, Kyoto is more incense nd done extremely well, but Hainan, hs this wonderful tea note that is so zenful. Good combination of ouds and depth. But both are fantastic

      @FoodnFragrances Thanks! As I have an opportunity to obtain Hainan,I appreciate this insight. I love a great scent that has an amazing Tea note,such as Guerlain Neroli Outre Noir '& Moncler La Cordees. Amazing.
      Thanks again. A2

    Any idea which is the best platform to get Henry Jacques perfume?

    • @FoodnFragrances
      @FoodnFragrances  19 วันที่ผ่านมา

      So in my opinion, reach out to them on Instagram and let them know you’re interested, they’ll send you blotters dipped in oil for you to smell. Then if you want to purchase, u could do it through Facebook group, Henry Jacques or their boutique.

    There are some designer prices that has decent quality but only lasts 4 hours. I’m realizing there is a profuse amount of misinformation on fragrances and I’m now led to believe that people need to educate themselves on their fragrance journey. Fragrances are so subjective people need their own wearing experience

      Totally agree with you man, a lot of TH-cam is sales tactics. Everyone’s body chem is different and I can only speak on my experiences. But I try not to push things like others and just want to share my personal collection :). All the best brother!

    Boadicea the Victorious Blue Sapphire is a very very expensive clone of Abdul Samad Al Qurashi Al Qurashi Blend. Btw have you tried Henry Jacques Roi Sans Equipage? 👌🏽👍🏽🤌🏽
