As a fan of styling/essence systems I loved this video. It's interesting to see how different systems or stylists can assess the same person. For body analysis I like Kibbe; for face essence I like Kitchener or the Truth is Beauty systems.

Then Kitchener developed his 7 essence system. There are a number of essence analysts who rely on one of these 2 systems and offer consultations and/or self assessment tools.
It’s quite interesting Japan seems to have so many things for style matching and those specialized beauty salons, I almost never see that kinda stuff here in Berlin.

tbh my whole look changed a lot since this video and other one where I got personal color analysis with this lady. You can notice that from my videos uploaded after this video. I wear bright and color fur clothes now to enhance my feminine energy and features as mentioned in this video.
I'm familiar with the face shapes Justine Laconte introduced in her videos (French stylist). They were square, round, oval, heart, diamond, long regtangle. I think corresponding, square is like cool casual, round is cute, heart is feminine, diamond is soft elegant, and long regtangle is elegant or cool..? And a 'clear' face would be an 'oval' face. I'm nor sure though? The images are very small and manga-like. I have a round-ish face with wider cheekbones. I have quite big eyes and small but pointy nose. My closest comparison I can think about would be that I look like Sailor Moon (except I'm not a cartoon character). Would this maybe mean that I'm the feminine type as well? Or somewhere on the 'cute' side? Something I have noticed is that since getting new glasses, people view me as younger than I am. I think big round or square-ish lenses are making my face look smaller and rounder, rather than a heart shape. I spent so much time trying on different glasses... I wish there had been a style advisor there at the glasses store.
Part of me would also like this kind of consultation, but since my size (18-20) is definitely not mainstream in Japan, I’m concerned they’d keep emphasizing I’m not “feminine enough”, etc.

As someone that loves to mix style and clothes this is not for me lol. So limiting! I think this is great though if you're not interested in fashion and style at all and just want help to look professional
I feel the same way, I like so many different styles, I could never settle for just one. I think a session like this would be great for dressing for an interview or something similar where you're wanting to present yourself in the "best" way, so to speak. But for everyday life I know I'm dressing however I feel in that moment 😂
