Very proud of Rastorgujevs!!! Amazing and well deserved silver, he's been great for a long time now and finally he's done it!!! And Johannes is savage, paid back to the french for Christiansen comment from the relay conference :) Love Johannes for that! and lost last shreds of respect to the french guy, what a low blow to Christiansen...

You are sure you are not aiming at some french athlete comment (and that was not even Quentin) about Rastorgujev?
@@rogercoffeeaddict6926 even though it was, Christiansen and the whole Norway team was feeling down obviously, so this was like kicking a person who is already down imo. Maybe he was still angry that Vetle got him at the finish, but it just didn’t look great. Haven’t heard any comment about Rastorgujevs, but whatever it is, if you follow biathlon for several years, you know he was always fast, just had struggled with shooting and now finally he got what he was working hard for all these years.
@@azayeszhanova9779 shrug. You seem to be trying to find something that does not even exist between french and norvegian athletes. The least i can say is that they know themselves pretty well, and norvegian athletes are all quite popular here.
What happened for Vetle happened to most athlete, they all know the deal. Quentin was just pointing out that after the bad start they almost had no hope, but all suddenly they (our relay) could fight even for the gold. He's not gonna answer that nothing happened.
As for Rastorgujevs, he was always fast in the sprint for years, that is something i will agree with. I dont remember him being a factor in the 4 shooting races. Anyway thats good for him and Latvia. Personnaly i have np with him.
You have the right not to like french athletes (Quentin at least), we all have our preferences. That would be a little more fair to acknowledge it.

Rastorgujevs was banned from March 2021 until September 2022 for missing doping controls three times
And your point is? It's a difference between missing doping controls (for what he was banned deservedly so) and positive doping analyses. In the last two seasons after the ban he hasn't missed one doping control and haven't found any prohibited substances.
Just stating a fact about your fellow Latvian, nothing to be debated here
@@artursberzins88 Missing doping controls is actually more severe than positive doping analyses. It's just like any other drug test. Failing to provide a sample = failed test.
