@@rogercoffeeaddict6926 even though it was, Christiansen and the whole Norway team was feeling down obviously, so this was like kicking a person who is already down imo. Maybe he was still angry that Vetle got him at the finish, but it just didn’t look great. Haven’t heard any comment about Rastorgujevs, but whatever it is, if you follow biathlon for several years, you know he was always fast, just had struggled with shooting and now finally he got what he was working hard for all these years.

As for Rastorgujevs, he was always fast in the sprint for years, that is something i will agree with. I dont remember him being a factor in the 4 shooting races. Anyway thats good for him and Latvia. And your point is? It's a difference between missing doping controls (for what he was banned deservedly so) and positive doping analyses. In the last two seasons after the ban he hasn't missed one doping control and haven't found any prohibited substances.

Rastorgujevs was banned from March 2021 until September 2022 for missing doping controls three times
