Goodwill's prices have SKYROCKETED and I all but refuse to shop there on that basis alone anymore. For items they get for FREE.... no. I understand they do have overhead, I get it, but their prices are way out of line. From clothes to household goods. So when I DO go, it is looking for VERY specific items, and I only look at the items that are half off that day (in my stores each week is a different color tag that is half off). Sweater vests are coming back in style, FYI ;) A majority of my clothes are thrifted and youd never guess it by my few videos but I love clothes and fashion and have a GREAT wardrobe. I'm super picky about brands and for the most part only buy 'higher end' brands. Those black skorts are super cute! Lots of ways to style those! You got some really cute stuff!
Oh yes I completely agree with you about the prices at thrift stores!!! They are crazy!! Starting to get comparable to just buying the item brand new. I try to only buy more high end brands as well now too! Thanks for the compliments 😊 I am trying to up my wardrobe!
@@ericanicolee The only upside that I can rationalize with paying more at thrift stores is the sustainability side of it (and even then I cant rationalize paying almost full price for a walmart or target brand shirt, second hand), which is becoming a bigger issue for me and something that will play a larger part in my clothing purchases in the coming year.
OMG that corduroy jumper/dress you showed but said was too small was exactly what I'm looking for!!! Don't you hate it when you find your "unicorn" but it's not your size? Grrr... Great video
