Mixed feelings on the novel… thought the twist was pretty good. Characters could’ve been better. Book did have some excellent commentary on some serious themes. I prefer the book “Journey Under the Midnight Sun” by Keigo Higashino. I think that novel is excellent.

I read the book & watched the Japanese film. Ishigami never look like a genius. An average work of amateur fiction. Thanks very much.

I read this. Thiugh it was one of his best works, i do not feel so. I only read a few of his translated works but i think Malice is a better one. By the way, great review

You can try salvation of a saint. Or newcomer. I read newcomer. Pretty good. There are few Japanese mystery fauthors out there whose works have been translated into English. Or you can try this book called the disappearance of Stephanie Mailer by Joel Dicker. Awesome!
