Over singing, screaming or yelling, lack of sleep, smoking, consuming alcohol and caffeine, sometimes consuming certain types of food such as dairy and spicy foods, and not drinking enough water or tea can mess up your voice in the long run.
Lol. When I had voice lessons, my coach would tell me to drink water after or when my throat is dry. So, I think it’s alcohol in general. Since it makes you dehydrated. I like the comment though. 🤣
About forgivung yourself, I think it's the best advice cuz' there have been rehearsals where I was like "wow, I didn't know I could't do that", and others that I was really bad at the easiest notes...the problem is that, in my case, even being an amateur, I have directors and conductors that are extremelly strict and they don't forgive your "bad days" 🙁

Gosh, I loved this video! I may not be there yet but I will be someday. It just takes time. For now, I have my practicing and Backstage to get me through even my toughest days. Backstage is like that best friend who knows everything about film, theatre, and TV that you wish you could have but is also your therapist on your darkest days. Thank you Backstage!

I can sing and I can act I'm confident In those things (well maybe not my head voice but it counts) but I can't dance and I have no passion to dance but I want to be on broadway no let me correct myself I will be on broadway. So my question is do I have to dance to be on broadway?
i thought i couldn’t dance but after a lot of practice and learning random choreography in my room i felt a lot more comfortable with dancing. you can probably dance just fine but it’s scary in front of others ngl. fake it til you make it.
