I never saw it before but John Stamos looks too old to play Conrad. By the way, I'm only here because some of you are aware that NBC has chosen Bye Bye Birdie as next year's musical which will be co-produced by and co-starring Jennifer Lopez.
jasminne mcdonald You heard me right. Jennifer will be producing alongside Neil Meron & Craig Zadan who brought us the previous NBC live musicals including this December's Hairspray LIVE with a new script by the legendary Harvey Fierstein.
awwww...I thought John was gonna be conrad birdie...given his rock persona on full house, he would have been awesome. He's young enough looking too...but I guess I can see him as Dick Van Dykes character Albert.
Okay, one year after this was on Macy's, my school performed Bye Bye Birdie. The year after we did Willy Wonka, they started coming out with new Wonka candy commercials. I'm hoping this means a Once Upon a Mattress revival within the next year in accordance to this year's show?
John stamos, you clearly need to do more musical theatre and less TV :D great job. And yes, it's supposed to be a little awkward. His character is a grown momma's boy trying to cheer up a bunch of teen girls :) context is important :)
i wonder how old those girls are cus a lot can pull off being about 15. (i know from experience they usually use roughly 20 year olds for teenage roles) fair play to them.
I've never seen a broadway show before, I watched this on TV, a little advise, when on TV wear looser pants. From 2:47 on I felt things got a little too personal between me and uncle Jesse. I'm just sayin'
I'm sure everyone would've thought he'd be Conrad but seeing this, he's just so perfect for Albert that I can't see him as anyone else anymore
My cousin's friend got to me him. Apparently he's really nice and he took a picture and signed what ever they wanted! 😊
Stamos is such a huge talent.Great voice, actor and overall pleasant human being.
John is Great.
Beautiful Voice.
Very Charismatic.
As much as he impersonated Elvis on Full House, I can't imagine him playing Albert Peterson.
I love this play!! Were doing it at my school this year!!! I cannot wait for it to come!! its gonna b great
STAMOS ! What a singer
Fantastic!
I thought for a second there he was gonna play Conrad Birdie.

I’m truly impressed by his moves; he has that rubbery movement like Van Dyke
I missed playing Albert 😭 Stamos killed it
I never saw Bye Bye Birdie before but John Stamos and the girls seemed to be having lots of fun with that song.

He was a pretty decent Guido in Nine a couple years ago, as well. He's one of the better television-to-Broadway actors we have.
Isn't Guido an Italian slur?
ジェシーおいたん!!
He is so cool!!
deanna is so good during this song and they gave her the funniest part, too.
i met him last year for my birthday at a beach boys concert
I'm seeing this on January 19, 2010!!!! I CANTTTT WAIT!!!!!!!!!!
ahhh i love these girls! im friends with two of the boys in the shows theyre so nice when we visit :)

my favorite dance moves are at 2:07 - 2:11 for john stamos hahaha

I Still Think It Would Be So Awesome If John Stamos was the Guest Host Of WWE RAW.
@BlueManFanGirl67 ik i was so excited to see that he got casted!!
2:20 If our Albert Peterson would do that, I would die happy XD
That was from the bear creek theaters
@MeowcatBissy Everything vocal is pre-recorded for the Thanksgiving Day Parade. I wish they didn't though.
JESSE!!!! O_O HAHA. HE'S AWESOME.
@MirandaAugust64 they always are for parades.
Don't believe the reviews. This show is adorable and is sold out almost every show.
shes in the yellow dress all the way to the right :D!
I Think That John Stamos Should be the next guest star of WWE RAW.

He's looking like Jerry Lewis with that slicked-up hair!
Have mercy!
wouldn't it be awesome if John Stamos Guest Hosted "Raw"?.
lmfao I was just thinking that! xD
My girl Jillian Mueller!!
I know her too!

i watched some of this earlier
How come he sang better in this performance than he does on stage?
@pinkgolf31 it wasnt part of the choreography but he covered up for it really well.
Yeah, so do I. I stopped posting in that board for a while because they can be such killjoys.
Any one knows where i can watch jimmy fallon and the roots perform?
the black girl in the lime green was in "13" the musical.
UNCLE JESSE
He's so nimble!! Seriously!

@lwclark96 I don't want to believe it was prerecorded but...........

i wonder how old those girls are cus a lot can pull off being about 15. (i know from experience they usually use roughly 20 year olds for teenage roles) fair play to them.
is he really about to fall off the platform at 1:44? or it is just part of the choreography?
Based on Elvis
0:38 it's the girl who played cassie in 13!
Is the song pre-recorded???
I want to marry him.
Who's better: Uncle Jesse (John Stamos, Full House) or Uncle Barney (NPH!!!, HIMYM
Uncle Jesse duh lol
@ilfranchi I doubt he was really going to, I think it's choreographed
I've never seen a broadway show before, I watched this on TV, a little advise, when on TV wear looser pants. From 2:47 on I felt things got a little too personal between me and uncle Jesse. I'm just sayin'
Oscar Peterson song.

That was okay... I DIDN'T think it was awesome. I think the scene could have been done way better.
