Just came across yr vlog. I am a physician n spend more than 8 yrs in home raising kids..I continued my profession after raising kids.the time u give to yr hone yr family..husband n kids is precious n priceless.....stay positive.....yr education will not go wasted u can use it when u want dear.

Iqra I after my wedding n moving to glasgow , i too became full time housewife even though I hold two masters degrees frm karachi and also did one masters from England. I felt I just couldn't manage a full time career with kids. Education or degrees never go to waste and degrees ar not meant for earning money only. . U can use the degrees for your kids'upbringing too . I feel i was able to raise two well behaved kids coz I had my full focus on them only. Now they r grown up I'm back to work after good 10 yrs gap

Just one friendly advice.. A hijab is meant to cover both the head and the chest of a woman. Most scholars also agree that face cover is important since face is a major beauty criteria.
However you should at least try to cover your chest with the dupatta. Millions of people can watch you online.. Not everyone has a pure heart.. Do protect yourself sister. ❤
Are you a man or a woman ??? Cos I am a woman n I dint even realize she wasn’t wearing something extra on her chest .. so it’s a possible scenario..why can’t you try to stop concentrating on the body and rather listen to the good wisdom she’s spreading .. see., you’re entitled to your own views but sometimes , especially on TH-cam it’s better to spread more positivity than negative stuffs

Salaam sis. A new subscriber 😊. This video is SO insightful. I have also found things slow down in my life and my ebaadah get so much better because of being away from work. Even though I also have studied for many years and have much work experience, I felt almost guilty about not working. But I've now realised that nothing can beat that feeling of maintaining a connection with Allah and really slowing down your salaah and being present in the moment. Lots of love to you ❤

I have done my masters degree but not doing any job just because if few reasons . Now m doing household chores , helping my mother but everyone says u r wasting your education. Your vlogs motivated me very much now i can say farig nahi houn "bohat kuch karti hun" . thank you soo much dear.

Very well put your thoughts in words as a by choice house wife... I am also by choice house wife with most of working females around me in family. Most frequent ask question from them is "kya kerti hein ap sara din?? Ap bore ni hoti?? Itna perh k ghar baith k waste he kr rhi ho!!!"... I am living my life the way i like easy relaxed satisfied peaceful n available for my family learning my deen making my relation strong with My creator through understanding HIS book. Everything is not money or career... I didnt see a single working women happy n content with what they have. When you go against the nature then you cant find peace.

I felt really positive and a little bit better watching this video. you're a gem of a heart. Thank you. I'm from Bangladesh. keep me in your prayers.
About today's video, I would just say: For a career oriented person, it becomes a lifetime struggle to keep your sanity maintain if you become homemaker. I'm engineer by profession and a homemaker now and still after 8 years I'm looking for my career deep inside my heart. I'm very happy, stressfree and a mother of 2 kids but that craving never fades away. That's just my own experience, yours might be different after years.
Maybe you are right. Maybe I’m new to this world of homemaking. Also, I may start my career again. It’s totally my choice and my decision, right now just enjoying my life each day ❤️
@@IqrainLondon Yes I have also been through this phase, I started Shariah course and started my Qaza Rozy and Qaza Prayers of previous years. Had lots of diary-writing-episodes. Learnt a lot of new skills cooking, stitching, shopping, sizing etc. Learn't Method of Hajj, Qur'anic Tajweed, Pregnancy n Breastfeeding Education n what not. But iss sbb k baad bhe my passion for my career is there though now I have forgotton many designs and terminologies and the biggest barrier in restarting my job is a longgggg gap!
That’s great ! If you really miss your profession, at least give it a try. Give your 100% insha Allah you’ll find a way to start it all over again :)
I don't know about others but in Uk you suddenly feel contented.
Exactly..i have same thots..i hv dn my engineering..aftr hvng kids now m a homemaker.. I m not satisfied wd wat m doing..this job of homemaking is not as much exciting as i had my job as computer engineer.. But cnt leave my kids wd anyone..infact i dn hv any1 who cn look aftr my kids.
Loved this video. Homemaking is very underrated. I have been a home maker and home educator for my kids for many years now. It has been such a blessing. I do have my own online business now that I have run for around 6 years and have given it a break for the last year due to my eldest doing her gcse's. May اللہ سبحانہ وتعالی grant you continuous peace and many blessings. You reminded me why I'm in such a fortunate situation.

I am inspired to hear about the decision you took of not working but being an emotional support to your husband. I guess this helps in giving proper time to the spouse, and to care of the entire house too is a big task, requires energy, patience etc.Wgen both the partners work it leads to lack of time, lack of attention etc .And yes you are absolutely correct the education you have will never go in waste.

Hello Apa, I am living in the USA for 4.5 years. I had to go through the same depression when I arrived which is also in December 2018. I have a baby now. I have quit my job. and don't get time for myself as I wish. I still feel depressed most of the time and feel like I will never get over this depression. suddenly your channel pops up and after watching your video I feel like this is what I needed the most right now in my life. You’re doing such a wonderful job , in terms of keeping your house spotless and cooking delicious food for yourself and your hubby.
That should be your priority right now , to please your tired husband when he comes from work. Imagine your out working , and you come tired too. That would be hard for both of you. So right now while it’s your settling phase in the UK and also in your marriage ( as you’ve not been married that long ), you should give time to yourself , your hubby and your house ان شاءاللہ.
When the time is right , you can easily walk in to a good job with such high qualifications.
I’m glad you have bonded with Allah SWT and you are reading the Holy Quran regularly as nowadays the Quran is kept up high usually even out of sight. May Allah SWT guide us all to be regular in our Salah and to recite Quran as much as we can before it’s too late
