Jarasandha attacked Mathura with an army of 23 akshauhinis, but Krishna and Balarama somehow managed the whole army of Jarasandha and his allies. Jarasandha attacked Mathura 17 times and was defeated by Krishna.
Excellent analysis. One correction: it was Sri Krishna who defeated Jarasandha 17 times before fleeing on the 18th time. Ref: BORI Critical Edition of Mahabharata.
What a nonsensical thing to say for such an esteemed personality. Jarasandha was defeated 18 times and was nearly killed by balarama. The final time he sent kal-yavana the episode from which krishna acquired the moniker “Ranchor”. When a person making lofty claims, has got the basics wrong, I wonder what kind of reading of Mahabharata he has done.
Krishna stopped Balaram from Killing Jarasandha. as Jarasandh was supposed to be killed by Bhim so that he could kill others (Similar Personalities). Oak Sir always diverts the facts and tells the stories that satisfy his fantasy.
We need to take nelash work with pinch of salt. It is not Jarasanda who defeated Krishna it is other way around. Krishna fedup with constant wars and thought it is wise to relocate.
What a nonsense, Krishna ji and Balram ji defeated Jarasandha for 17th times and ran on 18th without killing him to respect the vow Bhima took to kill Jarasandha and that was the reason why Krishna ji and Balram ji arranged the wrestling between Bhima and Jarasandha. Please don’t spread the nonsense as a public figure.
I am not expert, but i read Mahabharat there is a guy called Kalayavan, Kalayavan is gargaya son, No yadavas can defet him, Krishna and Balarama are yadavas, Also Jarasandh, Narakasura, Kalayavan this 3 guys very strong at the time so Krishna shifted his kingdom to Dwarka, Killing Kalayavan weaked Jarasandh and Narakasura...

Exactly! This guy twists facts according to his own fantasy. I wonder how come ranveer does not fact check this guy and calls him again and again.
