- A few years ago we purchased the Altoz Track Mower TRX 660. I'll tell you the goods and bad about this mower I have encountered over the years. This is NOT a sponsored video. These are my own opinions about this mower.

Those are in fact the all terrain tracks which is the “off-road” version. The other tracks option is their turf tracks. Just wanted to clarify!
Nice review Phillip. I just got a TRX 561 2 weeks ago. The deck is heavy and they now offer a power lift which I am waiting for it to come in. Its unclear what happens to the foot pedal once the lift is installed. I'm not a contractor but have a lot of grass to cut on my property. The cut quality is amazing, the ride quality is also amazing compared to the John Deere 2032R I was cutting with before. I do have some pretty steep hills and still learning how to best cut those but each time I run it I learn more on what it likes and does not meaning when it rips up the grass or not. I also have few wetter areas by a pond and stream and due to the foot print of the tracks its handles it with ease. I know a tire zero turn would defiantly have gotten stuck.

@@PhillipBridgesReviews List price for 561 was about $999.00. Dealer gave a little bit better deal and is installing it for free. Hope its worth it!
@@HillBilly4Ever I installed some helper springs that made the lift half as hard, cheap mod too.
There's no excuse for something this expensive to NOT have a hydraulic deck.
Total agree!
No need for an expensive hydraulic deck, just some helper spring does the trick for less than 20 bucks.

Pretty cool mowers. Price is crazy on though. Guess I have to stick with my push mower. 😖
It’s true, this is not a mower for everyone. Mainly, If you have a mowing business or a lot of land it might be worth looking into.

How do you turn around at the end of a strip without the tracks chewing up the ground?
Do the “tank tracks” tear up the lawn more than a conventional turf tire when doing turns?
The tracks are less noticeable but still can tear it up. Especially when turning fast on a damp lawn.
Phil, if you get the chance to try the all terrain deck, I'm curious what you think about it.
I have not tried one yet.

No, they are not mine. Lol just surrounded by them.
How to buy
How many hours on the tracks before you have to replace them
It all depends on the terrain. I have over 1700 hours on it and the tracks are still in good shape.
What CES do you work at.
I got the shirt from my guys at the Montgomery Illinois branch.
The tracks leave quite a foot print in a K-turn. I think not
I'm fine with my Spartan, Hustler and Grasshopper, no trax for me!

the usual zero air flow deck.. no leaf vacuum on this guy..
Second deck in side two years that’s no good will buy something else
I would never buy a second deck just because the paint is coming off, sand and repaint.
Deck was still under warranty. So, no $ out of my pocket. If that wasn't the case. Yes, Sand and repaint!

Not impressed I'll stay with my Toro Z commercial 2000 series and 5000 series
those are great mowers. I like their rear discharge decks.
But those tracks are soooo cool~ I want me one with that air ride seat 💺

Run away quick .Looks cool but nothing but junk. Just about everything either fell off or broke on this thing. Finally sold it for next to nothing. Altoz company is horrible to deal with.
We have two of them, had to do a few mods to make them shine but after 5 season's nothing has fell off of them like you say, they are bullet proof as far as I'm concerned.
What a piece of junk. Looks pretty. lol
