I know this is years old now and you probably get this a lot - but thank you so so much for making this video diary! I watched the whole series a couple of times prior to starting my treatment and it really helped with my anxiety about it. I put off getting Invisalign/braces for many years and this series was one of the main reasons I was able to finally getting my butt in gear and get a consultation. I just got my first tray of Invisalign today - excited!!
It does hurt, but only for the first few days, then it gets much better! I've only had a sore tongue once since the first tray and that was the one I'm on now, Tray 21! Very best of luck :)
I needed this. Every video or before pictures are basically perfect teeth already and I didn't believe it would be possible for my teeth. You give me hope!
WOW!! I just watched your last video! this is some amazing transformation! I've done 17 trays already, and just started my first round of refinement trays :( this is so motivating to keep me looking forward to the end result!
Honestly your smile looks so bad ass at the beginning but it looks really, really good now that you're done too. You're so precious and I'm thoroughly enjoying watching all of your invisilign videos. 😊
Of all the videos I’ve watched yours are the best! I have major spaces between my teeth and I’ve been looking all over for a review that actually shows what they look like in. I now feel much more confident about how I will look the first few months. Thank you so much for this! Btw.....I’ve seen your after photos as well. Good looking guy here.....but your teeth look amazing after. Congrats!
@@CatGoneCrazy Congrats for sticking in there. Did any orthodontist ever tell you that you would have to have your jaw broken before they could be fixed?
I watched your videos a few months back when I was trying to decide which types of braces to get, and you sold me on invisalign. My teeth are very similar to how yours were, same 2 problem teeth only mine grew sideways instead of in front to make the room. Today I finally got my first set :') They hurt quite a bit more than yours seemed to and are really difficult to take out and put back in, but your videos are giving me the confidence to do this, thank you for making this video diary!
I've seen your whole diary and you've answered a couple of my questions. After a long wait I got my first set of trays today! I realized I have to watch this diary again from the beginning...lol
What time to watch this video, I'm on my first tray of 39 and it's my second day. I have a time ahead and prepared to undertake what ever comes my way. Glad you enjoyed the treatment and the outcome from your previous video mate, awesome job and outcome something I'm looking forward to.
I'm 22 and have my top two teeth out word, I consulted a Dr. He told me I'm late by means of age to correct it. But after seeing you my big bro.... I am getting my confidence back to go again and visit another Dr for me. Thank you for uploading.
Want to thank you for getting me through the first week of my treatment. It was so painful! I watched your videos when It felt unbearable and was able to push through ☺️ orthodontic wax helped too with the sharp edges... I’m on tray 7 now and got used to it all! Thank you for posting these videos!
@Veena Kumar with each new tray it felt a bit tight but usually by the second day it felt better. The beginning was the most painful but it really does get better
Hello there!! I'm here in America and love your spirit when I watched your last day video before watching the whole diary. I have my consultation in 2 weeks. I just sent your video to a coworker who was talking about Invisalign with me. Thanks for keeping an in depth record of your progress & updates on how things were feeling.
You seem so swert, thank you for making time for this series!! Im here Day 2 with my first tray! 🙌🏻😁 FINALLY! Im 29 yo and wanted to do this for ages but I didnt have an opportunity or money to do it until now...my treatment is taking about 8 months and im committed to wear them that 22hrs per day 💪🏻 needed to take some ibuprofein for the pain 😅 so now it feels ok. Also I exercise a lot so i find myself hungry cuz im not bothered to eat as often due all the hussle it involves with Invisalign 😆 but i dont mind a little invisalign-diet haha! im gonna be binging this series...thank u and all the success with ur music, ur smile looks AMAZING nowadays 😍💫✨
I just started my treatment today. I have an open bite that will take 28 trays to finish. My teeth have always been something I’ve been self conscious about but I’m so glad im starting finally. It hurts like hell and know it’s gonna hurt even more the next few days, but knowing the pain is my teeth moving makes me somewhat happy. (also I since I have an open bite I have those bumps on all of my teeth which sort of defeats the purpose of them being “invisible” but I hardly notice them when I look in the mirror, but it’s still just the first day)
I watched your videos a few months ago and it made me go for it after years of being unhappy with my teeth! I’m now on day one Invisalign, I’m five hours in and feeling like a ulcer is going to form under my tongue but so far not in any pain, just feels super weird. Your end result is amazing, big well done!
Ah that's great! Just try not to rub your tongue against the trays (I know it's very tempting as there's something unusual in your mouth) but you'll have a a much better time if you leave them alone. And if there is a sharp bit, file it off before it causes a sore. All good though - very best of luck to you!
@rebecca Gent How is your process going? Are you happy with your results so far? How many trays do you have to have? I will start Invisalign at the end of the month. It's going to take 18-20 months to straighten my teeth.
@@ES-qu1jd Yeah really happy with my progress so far. My treatment is 18-24 months on weekly changes. I’ve gotten used to them now and have no problems
Hey sir, on second day of tray 1, and I've seen quite a few of your videos, and just want to thank you for your positive and friendly comments about your experience, and I am thrilled for your results. It is inspiring to have seen your progress and impressions! Thank you my friend. Looking forward to seeing how mine goes. Cheers!
Great introductory review. You really did your research and know about how it works...not many people seem to really know much about the process, even after going through with it! I look forward to videos posted on your progress and the end result.
Thanks for posting your experience, it is really informative and reassuring. I am only on day three and I have so many attachments on the top and bottom I am in tears whenever I remove my trays to eat. I am just eating once a day, lol. (not funny really) The headaches are so bad I just want to sleep the day away, but again this is only day 3 so I am praying it gets easier. Your videos have been a great comfort to me, God bless.
Don’t worry, it will get easier soon! You’re doing great, just hang in there. Ask your GP about pain relief if necessary. The start is always the hardest part.
@@sciencenerd13 Oh wow, thanks for asking! I am well. I am very, very happy with my results. I am now in week 23 and should be done by week 33. So, 10 weeks to go. Headaches come and go with some trays being tighter than others. Hope you are well .
Im just about to embark on my journey, literally same age as you were, and ive spent the same amount of time being self conscious. Hopefully by next year I'll have lovely straight teeth that i can do a big cheesy smile with 😬
That's so adorable....you have my OWL in the background! (well, not mine, obviously...one just like it). I'm considering getting teeth straightened and am in my 40's, so it's great to see your journey with it. Like you, I wish I'd had something done much earlier in life.....never stopped me smiling, but left me cringing at many photos!
My first day of treatment was yesterday, February 02, 2023. I am to change mine every 10 days, I have 10 sets of trays. Darn last night was a bit bad, soreness in my mouth feels like itching. I woke up at 2 am and had to go get something for the pain. I am not allergic, any tooth pain feels like itching to me. I have a nerve issue so any pain is amplified. Since it does not take me 30 mins to eat, I eat, brush and dab on some Orajel. By the time that dries and starts to work it is time to put the aligners back in. I wipe my gums down before putting them back in.
Awww you're so cute & adorable!!! I love your video diaries. I just started invisalgn and it's giving me hope mine will look great at the end! Also your singing is awesome :-)
I’m 29 years old and I got my Invisalign last week sometimes, been reading and watching videos on how to put them on and take them off how long to put them on and etc! I’m very nervous to put them on! Afraid I’ll ruin it! I been wanting my teeth straight for years! It’s been upsetting me ever since because my dad told me when I was younger I would get braces but that never came true so I’m trying to do it myself! Love your transformation, didn’t watched all of it but by parts and parts and I just hope I can get some inspiration words to have me motivated on having them on and and the encouragement as well! I’m hoping I can do this and go thru with it!
I am officially on my first day of invisalign! Didn't get all these bits and bobs though... I got the red and blue boxes of course but I wasn't provided with mouthwash etc. The only other thing I got was a chewie. But not a pack like that, it was a single one popped in my blue box.
No, I have the rest of the stuff anyway. And I'm not bothered I've not received these things, being I already have them... but don't get why two people on the same treatment get different things 🤔 I also think I seen you got attachments for the 3rd tray? I'm getting mine for my second tray
I expect it's the dental studio I went with, going a bit further for their customers. And yes, I was told two trays to make sure I'm not allergic to the plastic or anything like that, and that I'm happy, before they do anything semi-permanent like add attachments. And then really start moving the teeth. The first trays did move my teeth, but not as much as the subsequent ones.
I never even thought about being allergic 😶 I'm just looking forward to my next tray, my teeth are quite sore in this first tray. But I've seen on instagram aswell, that the first tray is the worst. Makes me feel better that it can only get better rather than worse! Although nervous about my attachments, heard they can jag the inside of the mouth but I dunno. Also how noticeable they may be, I have a couple teeth where I will be having two attachments instead of one on it.
The attachments are weird when you first get them. You'll feel like you have huge bits of food stuck in your teeth for a week or so. But they don't hurt, at least mine didn't hurt me, and the plastic over the top makes them smoother for 22 hours of the day.
Think You so mush for sharing your experience. I am so released now when I sow the result and how it looks like on your teeth. Its completely invisible. Think you again so mush
Everyone has clear blue holders for when they take them out and then maybe because I’m 12 I got this super colorful ocean teal and purple tie dye thing lol
Thank You So Much for your videos and all your info! I have thought about getting the invisaline and have questions about them? And you answered a lot of them! I think I will check to see if there is a an orthodontist/dentist in my area that does these! And with my dental insurance to see if any of the cost is covered, I hope they do! I'm also curious where you are from? I love your accent! Thank You So Much!
I’m not a teenager yet but will be soon and I got Invisalign last year ( on my 25th tray out of 45) I never got cheeses so I just bight on my blanket or pillow 😂 I also got ahead of what tray I’m supposed to be on because if I don’t feel pain after a couple of days I jump like two ahead ( not recommended but works for me.)
Thank you for all the videos. I have a question if you don't mind about the thing I'm most struggling with - I am at the end of tray one. As the plastic covers my molars, I have lost my natural position for resting my jaws together. I constantly seem to be biting and relaxing my jaws, almost like a sensory action, looking for that natural fit, which is no longer there. Do you eventually get comfortable with it and forget?
Lesley Nash Yes, don’t worry :) Your orthodontist should have made sure that your final bite position will be comfortable. But computers can’t get personal comfort exactly right, so my orthodontist didn’t give me a lower night time retainer for a few months after initial completion to allow my teeth to find a natural, comfortable bite over time. As for during treatment, the first few days will feel awful - you’ll get used to having the thing in your mouth in a few weeks’ time. Sorry that’s not instantly better, but it will get easier until you forget they’re even in your mouth. Good luck!
Thank you! I really appreciate the fact you replied! I sat last night and watched all your videos, one after the other - feeling impatient now after seeing your amazing smile 😀 Good luck with your music x
It's hard once your teeth start being loosened because it feels like you're pulling your teeth out. Just detach it from both sides at the back as much as you can and then pull it away from the front in a swiftish movement. It'll get easier :)
I know this is aaages ago and your new teeth are amazing! But I'm getting ipr tmo as I'm 5 weeks into invisalign.. Very scared for ipr.. Is it OK? 😔 Ps I'm a girl drummer in ireland 🥁 love your vids. Keep rockin! 🎸
Sir its very urgent I want to know after IPR when your teeth rescan for new aligners is your doctor suggested to until your new aligner reached to you, wear your previous aligner or do not wear any aligner for those days
UNIQUE ADVISE MASTER Wear your existing aligners! Taking them off for any amount of time will see your teeth start to move back to where there were, which would clearly be a disaster. Keep with the plan and then move to the new tray when he or she says to. Good luck!
@@CatGoneCrazy thanks sir. You are the best and pls tell me when your rescan process done and the day before the new aligner reached to you are u wearing the last one or not
UNIQUE ADVISE MASTER Yes, keep wearing the tray that you’re on, unless your orthodontist specifically tells you to do otherwise. If in doubt, always ask the professional. I’m not medically trained but I do know that you must wear the most current tray if one breaks. Basically you must keep the most recent tray in until moving to the next one, so do that.
One more thing to note - the rescan is mapping your mouth but the Invisalign is built based on what the last tray looked like. So it needs to start from that tray. So keep wearing it for now.
firstube Awesome! You’ll do great, just do exactly as they say and keep the goal in mind. Very best of luck! By the way, I don’t get notified of replies to comments, only new ones. So do start a new comment on a video if you have a question otherwise I probably won’t see it. Cheers!
Your videos + progress convinced me to get Invisalign. I started my treatment maybe 4-5 days ago. Luckily, I only need them for a year. My first day was okay. Taking them off still kind of hurts and the sharp edges are PAINFUL. But I know it’ll be worth it (: any advice to get through my first month with Invisalign ??
1-800 I wanna die I finish my first month in two days (12 months total) only advice is to plan your meals in advanced and I believe he has a video on taking them off
Hi there..Love your smile :) I have very minor gaps in my upper front teeth..I wore traditional braces many years ago and then the metal retainers at the back till date..since i had two of my teeth extracted the first time I wore braces, a few gaps have appeared now (due to the extra space i guess). How long do you reckon I might have to wear invisalign to fix minor gaps? will be going to the dentist soon but would really appreciate any advice/know-how :)
Well, I couldn't say for sure because I'm not an orthodontist, so you should really check with them. But I should imagine you'd need at least 15 trays, and it's usually 10-14 days a tray. But like I say, I'm not an orthodontist and haven't seen your teeth, so that's just an educated guess. Good luck, whatever you decide :)
None - you don't have to go to hospital for this treatment. Just find an orthodontist in your area. You need a visit every few weeks for a year or so. It's different for each person so ask your dentist for advice. Good luck!
Great Video!!! I'm getting my invisalign trays this Wednesday and I'm super excited!!!....What foods did you eat on your first day? not sure of food items to buy lol Thanks!
+Michelle Tiffanie Hey, Michelle, how exciting indeed! I had some pizza for breakfast the day *after* the next day but had to cut it up small and chew it up with my back teeth because my front ones hurt. But otherwise I've just eaten normally! It only hurts for a couple of days each tray, at least so far. Have a look at my second diary vid to see the worst it was, but seriously it's all good now. You'll be fine. And we'll both have lovely teeth :D Thanks for watching!
Hey! I just started my 22 week (11 trays) SureSmile program, and my orthodontist gave me a vibrator thingy to (accelerate?) enhance the process...was wondering if you had any thing like that? Also, any tips for cleaning the aligners?
I was told about it but I didn’t go for it as it was a lot of money, but do make a video to pet people know what your experience is like with it! As for cleaning them, just use toothpaste and a toothbrush. Scrub inside and out. Hope that helps :)
I have some questions about cleaning them. I got my braces in an unusual way - my sister is an orthodontist so she designed them, and our local dentist installed them. Unfortunately, due to this method, I did not receive any cleaning items such as the chewies or the brush to clean the trays. I was told to change my inserts every week, and I am only wearing these braces until summertime. Would simply brushing these inserts using regular toothpaste serve the same purpose for me? Or do you there is another cleaning method is should follow to ensure they stay hygienic?
I use a toothbrush and toothpaste on them, yep, and some soluble tablets for a deeper clean. But that's only my advice - you should ask your dentist/orthodontist to be certain. To be clear, I'm not a qualified dentist, I'm only sharing my experience. Please ask a professional for actual hygiene advice. Thanks for stopping by, hope my videos helped you.
Don't worry, the pictures will tell a different story soon :) And you'll want to look back over them to see the difference. I'm excited for you - very best of luck!
I’m currently looking into Invisalign ... problem being I have 4 crowns at the front on my top set 🤦🏼♀️ added complication there! I just don’t know if the cheaper brace option will be better for me then get new crowns or bridge in the future 🤷♀️ money is always the issue right? Plus worries about breaking my teeth 🦷 ouchie 😝 Thanks for uploading this diary 📔
Transformational Lioness I can’t imagine Invisalign would ever break a tooth, it’s pressure rather than force that moves the teeth, if you know what I mean. Ask your orthodontist and see what they say. Clearly I think Invisalign is superb but I appreciate it isn’t for everyone. Good luck, whatever you decide to do :)
Help: I just got mine yesterday and I am kind of scared to take them out and eat anything because I am so sore. Will this get more comfortable? Or will I have this problem every time I change a tray? Thanks for any answers. :)
cilibekd Hi - it is very sore to begin with because your teeth are literally being uprooted. But the first few days are the worst. I even had some blood from mine for the first tray. But after that, it hurts much less, and mostly only for the first few days of each new tray. Hang in there, you’re doing great :)
How many aligners/trays do you have to go through to get your end result? How is Invisalign going for you? I'm getting Invisalign at the end of the month... I'm anxious. LOL
@@ES-qu1jd I have 38 trays and on tray 5 now. I’m so used to them. When I get my new ones my teeth hurt for 2ish days but then they’re back to normal. There is very obvious movement now it’s quite visible. The most annoying thing is cleaning them along with brushing like 5 times a day. I also use polident cleaners twice a day but I think you’ll be fine 😘
@@vegemitesandwich4674 Thanks so much for your reply! That's great you see improvement in such a short time. I'm a little worried because I'll have to get a front tooth extracted so I'll have a gap for a few months until the aligners push the teeth into place and close the gap. I forgot how many trays I'll get, but the projected time frame is 18-20 months for my teeth. Thanks again for replying with your experience!
@@ES-qu1jd it will fix that quickly. Mine are moving a whole side and broadening the front and rotating the front teeth into a normal position. My projected timeframe is 18 months. Get some bonjela as well, helps with the discomfort a lot
Hi there, Firstly congratulations on your treatment. It really looks great. I'm going to be starting mine next month, but the thing that is making me a bit anxious is the filing down of the teeth prior to the first tray. Can I ask how was your filing experience? Did you feel it? Did it take a long time? Thank you!
I have crowded teeth and was advised by the dentist to extract two premolars. I don't want to do that because I heard it flattens your face and also other issues. Will this work for crowded teeth without extraction?
Like the video says, I was offered extraction, but also had the option to have IPR instead, which I did. It's all covered extensively in my review video, which should also tell you everything else you need to know: th-cam.com/video/KYSH5GXjP1k/w-d-xo.html Cheers!
@@flowerditzi Te respondo en español por tu nombre but if you don't understand I'll translate it XD Me ha ido bien, por todo el tema de la pandemia se han retrasado las tandas de alineadores y aún sigo con la última tanda, pero mi embocadura se ha ido adaptando sin problema y no he notado ninguna dificultad
My orthodontist is Dr Graham Gardner of Graham Gardner Orthodontics. I also recommend Marlborough Dental Studio, which is where I went for the majority of my treatment, although Graham no longer works at that studio as he has his own in Winchester, which is also great.
Wow man. I just started yesterday and I was fine for about 2 hours and then the pain started kicking in. Taking them out and putting them in causes an immense amount of pain. ESPECIALLY on my canines since they're higher than they're supposed to be. I only ate once yesterday and I haven't eaten today so far. Were you the same way? If so does it get better? Or do you have any tips?
Al. xm Hey - sounds about right, yep. I was indeed the same way - check out the second video in my Invisalign Diary. I believe diary 5 will help you take your trays out, but basically you just need to get through the first few days and you’ll be fine. There’s LOADS of Invisalign videos on my channel, it should all help! Don’t give up, you’re almost through the hard bit now!
Sir i am in 11 th tray now at the time of checkup to my orthodontic during scaling to remove the stain, 1 attachment on my upper teeth was broken but i have not notice that but when i leave my doctor chamber suddenly i found one attachmnet was broken and its the maximum movement of my upper teeth before ipr when I call my orthodontic he tell me that its not a problem because now the upper teeth does not move because it move to its highest position before IPR so he told me that during the future scan after IPR done that means after 16 th aligner he placed that attachment. So I feel very nervoused is there any chance of tooth relapse if i wait for the next scan and wear the present as well as the upcoming tray without 1 attachment. Pls give me the right information
Hi Shahin. The attachments are only there to help the trays guide the teeth, they're not always necessary, so a missing one shouldn't impact on your treatment. However, you should ask your orthodontist because he is the trained professional, and I am not. So call him up and take his advice. You're paying him plenty of money, so make him earn it :)
I know this was posted a long time ago lol, but I just started my second tray and it feels like my teeth won't ever change.. Could you tell if you had movement with the first couple trays? When did you notice visually that they changed? I've actually watched all your videos and love them! I just couldn't remember when your teeth changed because you went from this to a gorgeous smile fast cause I binge watched the videos for info. (I learned a lot actually thank you)
Kirah Llamas I noticed a change in my front two teeth after just two or three trays as they straightened up, and then saw visible difference after each couple more. Remember your clincheck animation shows you exactly what your teeth will look like at every stage, so ask to see that if you want a timeframe for obvious change. Thanks for watching and for the kind comment. Good luck with your treatment!
Yes I did indeed, two or three. The Invisalign is moulded to whatever your teeth's shape is at that moment. Of course, if you get a new filling, you'll likely need new trays if you're mid-treatment, which isn't ideal, but they check your teeth before you start to make sure no work is likely to be needed for the next year or so.
Can you please tell me how long was the wait between your consultation and actually getting the aligners fitted? Your teeth are amazing by the way. Ive watched most of your vids
I think it was about a month, if I remember correctly. The whole process is slow and none of it is to be rushed, plus they need to be sure you're actually going to go ahead with it. They give you plenty of time to change your mind, because once you're in, you have to be 100% in. And thank you :)
Hi please can you let me know if your teeth where removed before you started treatment I mean whenevr i go to the dentist they tell me that they will be removing 2 teeth of mine to create space for my 1 tooth that needs fixing 🤨 This is what puts me off. Please can u tell me if it will be a problem as i wont have all my teeth just becoz i need to fix one front tooth
Hi there - I was fortunate enough to be given an option: Either have two teeth removed and perfect teeth, or no teeth removed and be left with an overjet. I chose the latter because, like you, I wanted to keep all my teeth. BUT I must say, it's different for everyone, and if your mouth is simply too crowded to fit all your teeth in it, if you want straight teeth, you will need to have some taken out to make room. They can't straighten teeth in an over-crowded mouth, it's literally impossible, even with IPR. I say just do it - the time goes by very quickly and you'll be left with a perfect smile. Don't take the decision lightly, talk to lots of people and make sure you're happy before you have anything done. Best of luck!
There is now an Invisalign studio in Widcombe, I believe, but I went to Marlborough Dental Studio and now continue to travel to Graham Gardner Orthodontics in Winchester whenever I need to see him, which is every six months or so now. Graham is awesome, I don't know how good the Bath one is so you'd need to research it.
I've watched you're videos over like so many times, I'm going with Graham Gardner tooo 😍 Do you they give you all the mouthwash or did you buy them separately yourself. I'm so excited! I get my first ones tomorrow I think xxx
Catherine Evans Glad you like the vids! And Graham is awesome :) I was given one bottle of mouthwash - you have to buy more yourself, and it's the same with the chewies and fizzy cleaning tablets. Good luck - let me know how you get on!
TheRealCatGoneCrazy I feel like I'm doing something wrong like this can't be it right? They hurt a bit with the first ones but it just seems way too simple 😱 I need a tooth pulled soon though and to have my attachments on so maybe things may change. I might make a video but I'm a bit nervous to upload anything 😊 I'm so glad I had your videos to watch xxx
Catherine Evans No, it really is simple! Teeth hurt for a couple if days, wear the trays as many hours as humanly possible, keep everything mega-clean, change to a new tray when you're told to. Easy! But do upload a video, it's fun :)
Ah that's so cool! Yes, it's been a few years now, but I'm so glad I got it done, as I'm sure you will be too :) Best of luck to you!
How'd it go? I'm on my second tray.
I'm fucking sold. I had no idea you were wearing them and I just saw your completed results. Holy shit.
ö Hahaha it is pretty remarkable :D
Just got mine yesterday. Needed to watch someone elses. This hurts . Appreciate your positive outlook
It does hurt, but only for the first few days, then it gets much better! I've only had a sore tongue once since the first tray and that was the one I'm on now, Tray 21! Very best of luck :)

I came across your last video before I went back and watched this one. Amazing results!
Ah, thank you :)
wow. i didn't think invisalign could do this. i always thought it could only treat the more simple cases
Baby J My orthodontist said it was about as bad a case as Invisalign could treat, but he was very, very pleased with the results :)

Congrats for sticking in there. Did any orthodontist ever tell you that you would have to have your jaw broken before they could be fixed?
Marcia Ward Yes they did! But it wasn’t a step that needed taking.

Thank you for documenting this. I'm on day 1 of closing my gap tooth and I can't wait!
I’m on Day 1 now too. Thank you for your Invisalign diary. It has made me feel less alone in this process. ❤

What time to watch this video, I'm on my first tray of 39 and it's my second day.
I have a time ahead and prepared to undertake what ever comes my way.
Glad you enjoyed the treatment and the outcome from your previous video mate, awesome job and outcome something I'm looking forward to.
Your before and after is what I needed to see on week 5 of my treatment. INSPIRATIONAL STUFF 👌👌👌😍😍😍
I'm 22 and have my top two teeth out word, I consulted a Dr. He told me I'm late by means of age to correct it. But after seeing you my big bro.... I am getting my confidence back to go again and visit another Dr for me. Thank you for uploading.
Biswajit Halder It’s never too late, bud. I certainly wish I’d done it sooner, but only because the results are so good.
TheRealCatGoneCrazy bro do you mind if ask you the cost of it ?
If you are still wondering about the price, it cost me about $5,000.
I have finally started my treatment, Thanks to you.
Thank you - best of luck with your treatment!
(also I since I have an open bite I have those bumps on all of my teeth which sort of defeats the purpose of them being “invisible” but I hardly notice them when I look in the mirror, but it’s still just the first day)
Well done for taking the plunge, and very best of luck. You're approaching it with a great attitude :)
@@100rebeccaleanne oh, that's great to hear it's going well for you! Thank you so much for replying. :)
@@100rebeccaleanne So how many months did the unbearable pain last? After what month did you feel relieved? Also, did the pain relievers work?
Thank you so very much! I watched every video. I am on my third set of aligners, and I found your videos incredibly helpful!
Amy KW Ahh, that’s great! Very best of luck with your journey! :)
I love love love this video, specially 6:55 onwards. "It's better than gum ... nom nom nom" 🙏🏻😁😂😂
Hey, thanks very much! I'll definitely keep on with the diary, so more soon. Cheers!
Hey, how's your treatment going? After which month did your headache and toothache begin to ease? Did the pain relievers work?
@@sciencenerd13 Oh wow, thanks for asking! I am well. I am very, very happy with my results. I am now in week 23 and should be done by week 33. So, 10 weeks to go. Headaches come and go with some trays being tighter than others. Hope you are well .
Day 2 for me! I can't wait to follow your journey as I begin mine. I saw your end result and I'm excited.
Good luck!

Thank you so much for sharing your experiences. Today I got my first set of Invisalign!
Im just about to embark on my journey, literally same age as you were, and ive spent the same amount of time being self conscious. Hopefully by next year I'll have lovely straight teeth that i can do a big cheesy smile with 😬

I'm considering getting teeth straightened and am in my 40's, so it's great to see your journey with it. Like you, I wish I'd had something done much earlier in life.....never stopped me smiling, but left me cringing at many photos!
Best. Owl. Ever. ;)
Ah exciting times! Hope the pain isn’t too bad for you, sounds like you’re doing great. Best of luck, I hope you get wonderful results :)
Awww you're so cute & adorable!!! I love your video diaries. I just started invisalgn and it's giving me hope mine will look great at the end! Also your singing is awesome :-)
Great videos on your journey. I'm just about to start mine! 2 years for me. Looks like it's worth it thought
It sure is worth it! Thanks for the comment, and good luck with your treatment :)
wow wow wow i hope my result are as astonishing as yours are.
watching your video and now im not crying with my first tray
Thanks for making this series.
No problem - thanks for watching :)
I’m getting my this week, thanks for the video!!
Good luck! And you're welcome :)
Dang such a huge difference. I saw the after from your last video .
I am on my first tray and having lot of migraines 😕did you experience headaches?
Day 1 is tomorrow for me so I rewatched this to recap what I’m about to go through
Best of luck! The start is the hardest part, it gets way, way easier after the first couple of days so hang in there.
@@CatGoneCrazy its going well. a bit uncomfortable but not too drastic , definitely some sharp edges and a lisp but not too terrible
I am officially on my first day of invisalign! Didn't get all these bits and bobs though... I got the red and blue boxes of course but I wasn't provided with mouthwash etc. The only other thing I got was a chewie. But not a pack like that, it was a single one popped in my blue box.
Meg L One chewie is better than none :) That's a shame though... I suppose it doesn't cost much to buy the rest yourself.
No, I have the rest of the stuff anyway.
And I'm not bothered I've not received these things, being I already have them... but don't get why two people on the same treatment get different things 🤔
I also think I seen you got attachments for the 3rd tray?
Im on week 8!!!!! I cant wait to see proper results
Natasha Cole Thanks, Natasha :) I'm from Somerset, England. Glad the videos have helped! Good luck :P
Hello I've been looking for somewhere good to get mine done and your teeth are perfect where did you get yours? I can't wait to start my journey
Jane Authas Graham Gardner Orthodontics, Winchester UK. Can’t recommend him highly enough. Good luck!
Lesley Nash Thank you 😊
Your teeth look amazing 🤩
First day today.. the challenge is to open it how did you do it so easily.
@@CatGoneCrazy thank u sir

Your videos + progress convinced me to get Invisalign. I started my treatment maybe 4-5 days ago. Luckily, I only need them for a year. My first day was okay. Taking them off still kind of hurts and the sharp edges are PAINFUL. But I know it’ll be worth it (: any advice to get through my first month with Invisalign ??

will this work on people with space gaps on the teeth?
Gaia L Should do! Ask your orthodontist, of course, but yes, it moves teeth in any direction.
I have gaps/spaces in my teeth and I just started Invisalign. I would go to an ortho that specializes in it.
did they offer you rubber bands to go with your treatment to correct your underbite?
I'm about to start my treatment too I was wondering how many attachments did you have
D'Andra Smith Er... 5 I believe. 4 or 5.
How many visits you have to do to hospital ?
Considering Covid I may not be able to visit doctor many times.
None - you don't have to go to hospital for this treatment. Just find an orthodontist in your area. You need a visit every few weeks for a year or so. It's different for each person so ask your dentist for advice. Good luck!
do you have any crowns in your teeth? did you have cavities before getting them?
I have three fillings, in my back molars. That's all - thankfully I changed my eating habits in my early 20s!

TheRealCatGoneCrazy thank you 🙏🏼 Glad you love Invisalign so much :) your teeth are great 👍

First day here and I just want to take them out!!! Although I’ve waited 30ish years to get a completely straight smile
Hey there, did you not need to extract any teeth? I was told to pull out two premolars
PandaBear No, I was given the option, but it would have taken two years, not one, so I had IPR instead. Not everyone can, mind.
May I ask, did you have any fillings in any of your teeth before you started treatment?
Yes I did indeed, two or three. The Invisalign is moulded to whatever your teeth's shape is at that moment. Of course, if you get a new filling, you'll likely need new trays if you're mid-treatment, which isn't ideal, but they check your teeth before you start to make sure no work is likely to be needed for the next year or so.
From where i can get plastic aligner
It's so funny to watch him chew on the chewies😄
Can you please tell me how long was the wait between your consultation and actually getting the aligners fitted?
Your teeth are amazing by the way. Ive watched most of your vids
I think it was about a month, if I remember correctly. The whole process is slow and none of it is to be rushed, plus they need to be sure you're actually going to go ahead with it. They give you plenty of time to change your mind, because once you're in, you have to be 100% in. And thank you :)
@@CatGoneCrazy thank you
Hi please can you let me know if your teeth where removed before you started treatment
I mean whenevr i go to the dentist they tell me that they will be removing 2 teeth of mine to create space for my 1 tooth that needs fixing 🤨
This is what puts me off.
I want to know are you used chewies during your treatment
SK SHAHIN HASAN Actually, fun as they are, I didn’t use them much at all.
Pretty good accent. My teeth are the same and going to get Invisalign. Thanks for sharing your story.
Hey did you have attachments on your first tray??
No, 3rd tray onwards.
How many trays did you have?
Also how long did it take you?
32, and just over a year before a second course 6 months later for another 6 months to tackle gum recession, which worked.
Are you from Bath? Which dentist did you go to to get it?
Bryson Weir oh no! 😱 xxx
You'll get used to it very quickly!

I feel like I'm doing something wrong like this can't be it right? They hurt a bit with the first ones but it just seems way too simple 😱 I need a tooth pulled soon though and to have my attachments on so maybe things may change.
I might make a video but I'm a bit nervous to upload anything 😊 I'm so glad I had your videos to watch xxx
Catherine Evans No, it really is simple! Teeth hurt for a couple if days, wear the trays as many hours as humanly possible, keep everything mega-clean, change to a new tray when you're told to. Easy! But do upload a video, it's fun :)
Good idea, I did it once
Could this fix an overbite? If so, how much cost wise?
Merkava TV Theoretically, yes - go for a free consultation and they’ll be able to tell you the price.
@@CatGoneCrazy Thanks!
