- Weather was really nice that day. We tested the North Francis and South Francis beach and both sides are productive. It has some good hole where fish might forage around. We will definitely be back for more.

Thx for sharing. Ive enjoyed many of your videos. I’ll be camping there end of July, and bringing my fishing rod. I have some plastic pileworms, to try out. Do you know if I’ll be able to find some sand crabs on the beach?
Thanks for watching! There are plenty of sand crabs on that beach. Try using a rake and pick the soft shells, BSP and Stripers love it. Lures- I normally used a paddle tail grubs 1 1/2 in Motor oil. If you are jigging for Perch, Grubs seems to wok better. However, if Bait and wait is your method, Soft shell sand crabs is your best bait. You can also try frozen shrimps. Spots: Walk North of Francis beach about 1/4 mile and look for a hole. Best tides for me is Low to High. Hope this helps. Tight Lines.

Super blue clear surf water?? I was to Santa Cruz area last week and I fished 3 days in darkish brown looking water. Anybody have suggestions on why the difference? Great colors surf and sky in your video!!
