The drumming patterns throughout Tomb of the Mutilated is still one of my favorites. He definitely had his own style which helped give Cannibal Corpse a feel and sound that helped set themselves apart from other Death metal bands

Paul is a class act, with your last question about streaming, piracy, album sales. I think Cannibal Corpse have always put out the most perfect complete package. As a fan you want that CD album cover, you want to read the lyrics etc the thought that goes into the package is up there. While ever they continue to produce quality products I'll buy them over streaming any day of the week! I think I bought the last album twice to get both covers!!

I hate commercials and I understand that thanks to that this interview works. That's it. Drummer from the drummer show, that's how it should be. You will become a legend in my eyes if you bring to the show the drummer of the once number 1 Australian metal band Synthetic Breed. The metal world was asleep when they acted. It was a big mistake. It would be nice to see Carbomb's drummer as well. It's up to you to make the show, it's up to you to listen. In that, I definitely prefer shows from drummer to drummer.

I was introduced to super heavy music in a similar fashion... Like 20 years ago there was a college station in Boston, 88.9 FM. They played death metal on sundays. I was getting into bed and I put on the radio on my alarm clock thinking it would be urban jazz stuff, and it was some kind of extreme death metal. It sounded like a machine-gun with a demon screaming over it. I couldn't even fucking understand what the hell I was hearing! I am 43 and went from Led Zep and ZZ Top to like the Black Album and NIN and stuff. I listened to Ride the Lightning while playing F-Zero. When extreme metal was dropped on me I stood there stupefied for 5 minutes and rolled onto my bed and started laughing! What the fuck is this stuff?! Well... years later and I'm still learning about Bolt Thrower or Bal Sagoth... and I love Cannibal Corpse. Saw them live too! Metal is always something. I learn of new bands and vibes all the time.
