The fact that nita wears a dead bear hat could mean bruce is a spirit 😬
Damn that just got super dark...
Maybe Nita did have an actual bear but it died fighting to protect her so the bear fighting alongside her now is just the spirit of her bear and her bear hat is the bear that died in combat.
That makes a lot of sense because when Bruce gets killed by an enemy brawler Nita can just re-summon him, maybe he is a spirit 🤔

For Colette, I think she's inspired from a French author - Colette :) that's why she has the journal with her all the time. The brawler Colette has the same hairstyle as the French author as well.
She's called a tax collector in the bit about her in the game -- that's also why she does damage so weirdly: she is taxing how much health you have.

7:45 the developers really missed an opportunity to call Piper's weapon the "Bumbershoot" (an older term for umbrella, totally fits the old fashioned mannerisms of Piper)

Fun fact : in French the name of rico is Ricochet and his brawliday skin was also Ricochet so after an update they changed the brawliday skin to Clint Rickwood.

Hey KT I have a "theory" about another way Edgar and Byron's name could be. 1. For Edgar, if you rearrange the letters in his name you get RAGED (basically just the name backwards but you swap the E and D lol). 2. For Byron, since he's so creepy, once you buy something from him, YOU BETTER RUN! Hence comes the name Byron, or Buy-run lol (I don't expect Kairos to see this but it's the thought that counts:))

I'm ready for another one of these with how many brawlers are now in the game. Making this a series would be awesome as the game is subject to keep going for a long time, which means that new brawlers will be constantly added.
Fun fact: Byron was historic lord who was a lord in 1800s he was also the first person to come up with a vampire story and loved animals and had bears and snakes

My theories:

I have an interesting theory for crow. Rosa and bea might have worked on giving an animal human characteristics. But halfway through they leave it. After some days, bull and bibi find a weird crow that fitted their lifestyle and used him.
This would also complete the "Rosa and bea creations" trio along with spike and sprout

attack: charger shoots electric bolts that will instantly connect to other enemy brawlers dealing damage overtime.
super: anyone with the circle of his super will be stunned for 1.5 seconds and do 1500 damage overtime.
star power: chargers shots will do damage overtime for an extra 2 seconds.
gadget: the next attack will pull any enemy brawlers within the range of the attack together.
Great video as always, Kairos. I've always wondered about the design origins of the Brawlers, and it's so nice that we finally have an in-depth video about it.
I just wish you had also included some Brawler names in different languages, like you did with Sprout, mentioning how it's named Wally in certain languages. But that's just a minor nitpick.

BRAWLER IDEA: Reverse
Reverse attacks brawlers like nita but his shots start at the top and go to the bottom this attack. this is called invert.
Super: Reverse gains his super when brawlers attack you and when using the super you do 2000 damage for his super and remove someone’s super.
Star Power: reverse’s attack becomes bigger and easier to hit enemies with. it is increased by 15%
Gadget: when using gadget the next brawler to hit reverse, would heal him 80% of the damage dealt.
2nd gadget: invertation anyone within the area of effect would invert their movement and/or attack controls. including if using auto shoot

With the new emphasis on the lore that the brawlers all work for Brawl Park and everything is performative for entertainment, you cannot tell me that Collette is also one of them. She's actually an obsessed fan who somehow snuck onto the roster.
The last brawl theory was so creepy but the good part is that some 9 year kids deleted the game. Thanks kairos ❤️
