    I had the same experience. The Feelgrounds soles are too narrow in the mid-foot.

      Yeah for sure. I'll be sticking with Vivos from now on. They just seem to generally fit my foot shape the best.

    I had the same probleme. The thoe box was really to narrow for me. It's really hard to find a real wide to box. I have a pair of Prio Neo in 11 they fit because of the net. But i should got a 11.5 us.

      Yeah even "wide' shoes aren't that wide in the grand scheme of things. Vivobarefoot are ok and my preferred brand but even some of theirs don't get wide enough. And if you're starting out with barefoot shoes and the width is already close, as your feet get a little wider over time then you're going to find less of the shoes fitting as well as they used to.
      That's what happened to me anyway.

      Thanks mate, appreciate the comment and kind words. Right now I’ve gotta say my Geo Court 3. Are my favourite. I’ve got them in black and in white and I find they’re so versatile as a fashionable shoe. They work with jeans or with shorts.
      And when it comes to how they’re made, the leather is great, instantly so soft and supple and flexible, and they’re leather lined internally too so they feel great under foot with or without socks on 👌🏻
      What about you bud?

      @@harrisonmudge nice! I also have the Geo Court III’s but for me they are still pretty stiff, mainly on the right foot. Should I just give them more time to keep breaking in? Also do you still enjoy the Magna FG’s and Primus Lite Knit’s?

    • @harrisonmudge
      @harrisonmudge  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @rosswiegel4751 oh that’s odd. Interesting it’s only on the one foot though. That could be due to the leather as it’s ‘less processed’ it’s someone uneven in its feel. But for me the whole shoe was supple from the beginning. That said I think my white pair probably are a little stiffer relative to my black pair.
      I’d never say give them time to break in if they’re uncomfortable as I feel they should feel great from the start. But my black ones which I got first and have worn more are ‘looser’ in that respect. Personal preference whether you stick with them though.
      Yes still love the magna’s. I wear those less in summer as they’re a bit warm.
      The Primus Lite Knit are back on too for the summer yes. They’re a great casual trainer for shorts in the summer. Although we’re yet to see the summer in the UK. I hear it’s close though but right now wellies are more appropriate!

      @@harrisonmudge interesting! Yeah I have a white pair so maybe somehow they are stiffer than the black pairs? Also are you going to check out the motus flex?

      @rosswiegel4751 I do keep looking at the Motus. I’m currently preparing to go on holiday, and still waiting on my refund for the Feelgrounds but I might pick a pair up in July.
      They do look so cool, I did hear that the other pair of Motus trainers actually run a little small but I might get them both and give them a comparison

    Lesson learned: When walking "properly", my toes spread apart quite a bit when I step and then take up even more space. A roomy toe box (all the way up to the heel) is therefore an absolute must and all shoes that don't offer this are automatically dead for me.

    • @harrisonmudge
      @harrisonmudge  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yeah I hear you. I definitely prefer the overall wider fit in my shoes. that's why the RA from Vivo are really nice as they're wider overall in the heel / mid section.

      @@harrisonmudge Funny enough, my daily driver is the Vivo Gobi.-) I guess once you experienced the real barefootshoe deal, you can‘t go back…knockoff brands like Feelgrounds that compromise on the barefoot principles and water down their shoes in order to reach the mass market don‘t do themselves a favor.

  • @anchovies11

    I had a similar experience with this brand, I ordered the court ones and a knit pair with some clearance sandles. I absolutely love my primus iii lites so I was hoping I’d feel the same about these but with a more normal style, and even though I ordered the right size they definitely felt tight. I’m a 12.5 and on their sizing chart it lined up right with the length, but I’d agree that the shoes taper too early and feel narrow for a wide toe box shoe. They don’t have as good of a return policy as Vivo either, I ended up losing $50 on shipping and $30 for a restocking fee, so I’m not going back to the brand and just sticking with Vivos.

    • @harrisonmudge
      @harrisonmudge  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah that’s something I completely forgot to include in the video! €10 shipping even though I spent over 200. Then to return them it’s cost me another 10.
      So trying to find your fit you’re just not going to be going back and forth with them that’s for sure!
      Vivo has their 100 day trial, free delivery over £100 and only pay the shipping on the return. That’s way more acceptable than shipping both ways

      Vivos murder my small toes and are too shallow so they feel restricting. Feelgrounds don't bother my small toes at all and have good depth. It's all about foot shapes.

    • @harrisonmudge
      @harrisonmudge  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@CptAngelKGaming What do you mean by depth ? Hight for your foot? If so, yeah my feet a relatively flat which is why the taper to the mid foot and heel for me was more uncomfortable whereas Vivo have the wider (overall) fit from front to back. Certainly not always the widest though.
      You're right about foot shape though, so much variance across populations.

    • @harrisonmudge
      @harrisonmudge  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yeah but that's the problem. They were the BIGGEST size I can buy! Agree if you're around a 10 lets say then you can size up or down accordingly. I'm a UK 14, and no one (or at least not many) go beyond that.
      Also, these were too narrow rather than too short, so I don't think they'd have got any better even if I sized up :(

    • @harrisonmudge
      @harrisonmudge  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      😂 true but I think you’re missing the point. As in I’m trying to find shoes for when I need to wear shoes. I don’t want to wear shoes all the time so I don’t but we also have to wear shoes, so this is why I (and everyone else) wears shoes at specific times. Hence why we all own shoes.
      I’m aware there’s also an argument that you shouldn’t have to give in to social norms and put shoes on just because everyone else does but if we take that logic to the extreme we may as well be walking around naked all the time if we wanted to. That, I don’t believe, is something as many people would agree with.

      @dancan6622 😂 what are you talking about. Yes my channel has reviews of shoes. That’s my videos, reviews. If you want to watch videos of me barefooted I can spin up an OnlyFans for you?
      But in all seriousness what are you actually expecting? Feet shouldn’t be in shoes, shoes aren’t made for feet (usually), I have big feet so when I wear shoes barefoot styles fit better, because they’re barefoot they’re more natural, VIVOBAREFOOT are my favourite brand of barefoot shoes that are also quite expensive relative to others, I buy a lot of them, people are interested in hearing peoples opinions about the shoes. = video reviews of the shoes.
      I’m not going everywhere with no shoes on and I imagine you don’t too, otherwise you wouldn’t be watching this video would you?

      Wow! That's pretty impressive to be honest. I can't say I'm that far along the barefoot lifestyle but it's certainly a consideration. Seems like life would be a little easier in that regard.
      Where are you based? For me I think I'd struggle to manage always being truly barefooted because if the weather is even remotely mild, not even cold, then my feet get very cold and so do my hands, then is causes me all sorts of cold sweating all over! Very strange but if my feet are warm then I'm warm usually.
