I remember seeing Sputnik in his later career, in the early 1970's, when he appeared with whatever body of wrestling featured Johnny Powers, Dick Bulldog Brower, Hans Schmidt, and all those guys. His spiel used to include "I'm a diamond and Cadillac man!" during which he would get all riled and mess up his hair as he was ranting. Unfortunately, he must have retired about that time, because I remember his appearing in only one bout during that time.
The Blonde Bombers that Lance Russell speaks of are of course Wayne "The Honky Tonk Man" Farris and the late great "Moondog" Randy Colley expertly guided by then "Sergeant" Danny Davis. A Memphis Pro Wrestling travelogue in only a few syllables.🤔😂🎤👍🎼🚘💎💸🤼♂️B.W.
