@@T.Ross. of course not. Some studio exec would look at the proposal and say, "You're trying to make A Clockwork Orange. A lot of Apocalypse Now comments, very few Kill The Wabbits, which we should remember that along with Tom and Jerry introduced a lot of us to classical music as kids. And won some Oscars for doing so. Fabulous cover :D
I love how you had the balls to make it your own with that sound instead of just copying. Great work, not only artisan work but creative work. I like it a lot ❤
"Hey! You smell that? Smells like....Victory" ...... or is it the Power supply about to let the Blue smoke out. Cracking project. Well and truly stuck it to the digital brigade.. Analogue rules, stuff the pixies.
beauty , mate, those patches are epic , even the ones pretending not to be . better than all my "classical on moog" type records combined. u know it, i know, we all know it
That's what you hear in the movie too. They couldn't record an actual helicopter because it just spiked the meters and became a distorted mess. Most of what you hear up close to a helicopter is that terrible high-pitch whining from the turbine engine. There's a clip of Anthony Marinelli where he talks about being in the studio when they made that iconic chopper sound on a moog modular.
Absolutely Amazing! Semi modulators done! That sequencer light show is incredible. You even got some of that test equipment kicking into the light show, and I love the 3 note displays. I can't imagine how many hours went into building that monstrosity, but I know it's all documented on video. I guess the next step is to add some legs so it can dance to your music too! lol --> ps - I love the classics!
it is a bit strange that today we experience similar vibes of something that was made more than 50y ago - what does that say about this one (maybe a bit weak) or about the original one ? (quite ahead of it's time)
While I am not a huge Wagner fan. I absolutely love the classical re-imagination of classical into techno and EDM. Please do some more classical pieces and don't be afraid to up it to max my brotha, get that tempo and beat up! Great work also been enjoying a few of your vids on the modular synth lately.
Oh man, you are doing some pretty great stuff. That probably took some time to patch/figure out. Can not make it to your performance in The Netherlands in aboit a month, but some day I will see you playing.
Absolutely superb - gonna watch this again tonight on the surround sound rig, cranked up to 11 (it goes all the way up to 11, you see). Loving the D51 'scope - I've got one of those here, it's outlasted every other scope I've ever owned...
Sam, this is awesome. Works even better when replayed on faster speed hehe, somewhere between 1.25 and 1.5 is the spot. OF course speeding up recordings like this has been done before, not mentioning names. :)
Oi, Look Mum No Computer, yer a proper legend, mate! Yer music machines and synths are the dog’s bollocks, and so is beans on toast! I could eat that all day, every day, no word of a lie. It’s the best grub in the world, innit? Better than any of that fancy foreign muck. Keep up the good work, fella, and don’t let them DFLs get yer down. Cheers from yer biggest fan in New England! 🙌👍👏
Amazing, hat's off to you for this. You hard core modular guys sure have more patience than I. Approximately how long did this take to set up ? Thanks 🙏 for creating this 🎉
'I love the smell of warm capacitors in the morning"
I LOVE the sound of LMNC in the morning
it's crazy how that movie changed the meaning of this piece forever
it sounds..... VIctory!
@@MechanicalRabbitsI forgot about the connection completely until I read the comments. Now I wish I didn't.
If Clockwork Orange was made today, Stanley Kubrick would've chosen you to score it! Mega!!!
Alas, A Clockwork Orange would never get made today. 😕🥛

Don't forget Mighty Mouse introduce kids to opera too.😁
Two words for you: Hamster slingshot
"Why are you sitting on your helmet?"
"So I do not get my balls bllown off!"
laughs
shakes his head
thinks

This gives me simultaneous Wendy Carlos and classic Doctoe Who vibes. I can give no higher compliment.
Sounds like something MGMT would make back in the day like their song Time to Pretend

Magnificent! Sam you’re a wizard, mate!
Nice! Reminds me of "Everything you always wanted to hear on the Moog but were afraid to ask"
Just hearing this in the morning and the day doesn't seem so bad!
Really living on the edge balancing that left rack on the oscilloscope like that
Another Masterpiece!!! Great job, Sam!
Love the Helicopter noise, Very Apocalypse Now, I can imagine a sequel of that film but set in Russia, ;)
Blown away... and I only listened to it on the Smartphone 😮
This is a perfect musical example of how my work day goes🎉😊
Isao Tomita would have been impressed! Well done!!! Best thing I’ve heard in a long time.
this is the best classical remix you've done yet, congrats LMNC!!
This is pretty much the best thing I’ve ever heard, love it.
I think this will be my new alarm clock music.
Very strong Clockwork Orange vibes here

Clockwork Agent Orange. 🪖
*Clap Clap Clap Clap* Roar of applauds "bravo BRAVO"
This had some old school dr. who vibes to it
Wagner fan: This music must be played with the biggers synphonic orchestra available. Sam: "Hold my beer..."
Wicked stuff mate!
An unmistakeable Battle sound. Top!
Brilliant Sam loving it sounds freshly from the 70s. 🙌
Woohoo Coppola electric vibes incoming. Let them boys go surfing.

crazy how much those synths sound like horns at some point. good stuff, Sam
All I could think of was how much better Apocalypse Now would be with this version. You got chops Sam!
Amazing analog skills !
Especially love the old school Telequipment D51 and Tek 515 scopes (actually have a 515 lurking about here).

Marvellous - great will be hear "Also Sprach Zarathustra" or "In The Hall of The Mountain King" next!

The way it should be played 🥰
This deserves to be recorded this onto a Maxell tape. "The usual, sir?"
It sounds like the music from those telephone company type of advertisements that would well fit into vaporwave.
"Switched on Wagner". Nice filter envelopes (among other things)

The little scope tucked on the back is that a Tektronix 310 ?? I had one of these and loved it. Mine was made in 1963. Would love to see more of it.
Brilliant arrangement!
Next "Mars The Bringer of War" by Gustav Holst on analog synthesizer.
This is art.
Imagining an 8-bit version of Apocalypse Now. In an Arcade in the mid 1980s. Shoving another few coins in for another go.
That was sooo sick
