Love the way you explain your topics. If I had found your channel earlier in my life when learning piano, i'd save years of frustration and wasted time! Keep up the great work!

As a german pupil I usually don't write english comments to avoid possible mistakes. Thanks for the video, these chords sound interesting.

kathy johnson Hey! Don't be afraid of doing that. Especially if there's any questions you wanna ask! I doubt that anything bad can come out of couple of your mistakes. Sure, there are grammar nazis, but they are few. Don't let them discourage you from learning or interacting with other people!

I'd lobe to see some videos on Lydian-type (1-3-#4) chord variants, as well as on the various 6th chords. I'd really just like hearing your opinion on their tonal qualities 😊

A song from Final Fantasy 6 Pixel Remaster, called "Esper World" makes great use of this chord's scale degrees. Check it out if you haven't already. Great vids btw!

Alternative title for this video: How music theory should be taught.
It almost compells to use and make music at this very instant.

i found out minor-major chord by adding spice to the Fm and it's sounds a perfect sad yet creepy ending on my chord progression. since im just self-learning the music theory i searched it on google and can't find a straight to the point answer on what the chord name was. i still wonder why this chord is not as used as C7 when they're the same concept, just switched?
