Well, he is right in some sense. They have weaknesses at least. Morde has a couple. I'd better face a 12-0 Morde than 12-0 Irelia or 12-0 Akali.
In all honesty, each champ should be busted in some regard. That is what makes the champ fun. People always look at it the wrong way, as Zwag said. Cass might be busted, BUT into low range champions. So learn to play high ranged champions and counter Cass instead of complaining she is strong. People just want to be happy with their own champs and not learn the game. That is the issue. Draft pick's purpose is to get counters on the enemy. Else just go play blind.
Champs should not be busted. They must have strong and weak sides. The problems are that the latest champs have almost everything. They have a lot strong sides and less and less counterplay. Let's take Cass. She has damage (dps), some form of cc and zone control. She is strong, but her early game is not that powerful, she doesn't have dashes/blinks/teleport/invis for escaping. And the last thing: Cass is a lategame champ that requires a lot of items to work. 0-12 Cass is almost useless champ on a field. If you miss your ult, you're screwed and instakilled. Let's look at another champ. For example Irelia. A champion with hybrid damage, attack speed boost, tons of dashes, damage reduction, zone control, burst damage, cc. And the worst part is that you can be a 0-12 Irelia with 1 item, miss every ability and still win a fight. I understand why they are doing that. But that doesn't change a lot. And for the last part. If people don't want to learn the game they should play against ai or be hardstuck in iron. But ranking is not working in team games, so it will be always the same.

I saw the title and thought he was going to play agianst many very squishy people, but then I saw the team comp and I immediately was interested to see how this plays out.
The problem with Ryze, Cass, Karma, etc is that they don't have counterplay, they have counterpicks. And that's a problem because Ryze is not as extreme but Cassio autowins against 40% of the roster and autoloses against other 40%. I've outmeleed champions like Mundo and Aatrox with Cassiopea. Again, Ryze is not that bad but they're champions who you just can't play against sometimes.
Edit: "Range counters Cassiopea and Ryze so hard" indeed, but the thing is that if you don't have range the game doesn't get harder, it gets impossible if the Cass plays properly. You can't win, you can't farm (because they'll just kill you under tower) and you can't run away.

Are people who go mid lane complaining that Ryze and Cass are op? Because I think majority of those may be top laners. Bruisers kinda can't do much against them right now and riot needs to do something about it before Top becomes a full on mage/assassin lane too.

I'm not sure if it's the mechanical consistency, lack of over aggressiveness (and hence exceptional discipline), or knowledge of the game, or all three that make this kid so good. It's almost as if he lets his opponents lose for him, idk how else to explain it.
He's a Grandmaster level player, I think he's been in Challenger in the past. It's a mix for sure, you don't get to that level without being good at all aspects of the game.
