Two conventions back to back, I must be crazy! And man am I crazy tired. It's not easy to do multiple artist alley tables, I don't know how some people do 4-6 in a row!
This is my second time at WonderCon! Feel free to check back on the first artist alley vlog I did last year, to compare my thoughts on the show. I definitely... have a lot of feelings, both good and bad. And I will be sharing those thoughts, along with the actual dollar amounts of my profits and expenses for this show, with my Patrons of $5 or more! Overall, this show is always super fun to be at, and I love getting to meet so many of you! Thank you so so much to everyone who came by to support me and had nothing but nice things to say about my work~ You make these shows worth it!

It's always lovely to see your blogs friend....feels like only yesterday you were just a little table with a few pieces of merch. I know you've had a rough road through some pretty bad shows, but from an outside perspective just know that it shows SO MUCH how much you've grown and expanded your table and merch! Great work friend! Can't wait to see you again soon

Omg I feel this!! Being able to do the LA con with you was a blast but boooyyyy that hotel cost took a massive cut on top of the travel cost too. Hearing that Sacanime ranks a bit higher is really exciting. It'd be great to have a solid con closer to home base to cut down on the travel and hotel prices. Regardless, I'm glad you had fun and that the con attendance is up to speed with how it was previous pre-covid years!❤
It's definitely a fun show to be at!! I'm now actively trying to figure out how to budget my hotel stays better, while also getting my Hilton points 😂 I hope I get to see you at SacAnime!!
just wanted to say that although hotels can be VERY expensive and I definitely see why it was frustrating, your pie chart of sales still is AMAZING!!! I have just noticed in your videos that you focus on things that may have not been your expectations rather than things that you have accomplished/succeeded at, and I just want you to feel like you are a talented amazing successful artist because YOU ARE!! I used to see things as needing to grow, having to have the next con or event be better than the last, but that just prevented me from seeing just how much I accomplished and how proud of myself I should be. I can see what your partner is trying to say. BE PROUD OF YOU DOING THIS IN THE FIRST PLACE, i mean that's special itself

I'm so sad I didn't catch you this WonderCon qwq I was vending too with no helper so it was hard for me to leave my booth.. when I had the time, you weren't there, but I hope at another socal con I get to meet you finally!! :0
WonderCon was surprising for me honestly. It was my second best con, first being Anime Los Angeles. Staff definitely gave me a scare when they came around aha.. Hopefully I'll be back next year, despite the 80/20 rule 😅😅
Ohhh I’m so sad I missed you! I only had a handful of opportunities to pop away from my booth, what bad timing 🥲 I’m hoping to be back in SoCal next month, but don’t have a confirmed show yet!

I understand the frustration about the hotel cost. Hotels can be so expensive. But driving back and forth is just not an option for some cons and at the end of the day driving tires you out unnecessarily. I'd rather stay at a hotel close-by and get enough sleep to be fit for a long convention day, even if it eats into the profit. I'd also be afraid of my car breaking down on the highway, because stuff like that usually happens when you're in a rush, haha~

Probably, inflation had to do with it. I was (had to be) very selective on what I was spending.
Oh I’m sure that’s a huge factor too!
