I am going to move over more towards the muscle and of Quito, but I wanted to see what my natural body mass index if you will would be if I just did keto, your way with zero gym time. RESULTS: keto. I went from 189 lbs April 19 to 162lbs but June 8th. Hit a wall. Changes some food and time on eating. Today July 2nd, I am 151. I'm going to go to 145 them do by Tom D higher protein with gym time, and put 15-20 lbs lean muscle. Is other than weight loss the cleansing of these bad cells from your body to one meal A-day when you're going over 24 hours and it actually reaching your brain, this is very motivational I will never stop doing it. Thank you for your advice It has been well received by doctor friends of mine who are surgeons to general practitioners who can't believe the change in my appearance in such a short period of time just by discipline and regards to my diet. I dismissed the ketogenic plan for years out of just plain old bias. But after dieting and losing 100+ pounds multiple times over the decades I realized I just couldn’t keep repeating variations on the standard, traditional, low-cal approach. I was hungry all the time and eventually you fall off the tightrope and you just don’t want to climb back on. Dr. Berg, your solid, hard-science presentation of the benefits of keto were incredibly persuasive. I am on the keto plan now, and the biggest thing is I am really, truly NOT hungry all the time. And the food is easy to prepare (and as a guy who never cooked much for his entire life that is saying something). I feel fantastic and am progressing nicely down toward my weight goal.

I started keto in September, after having broken my ankle, becoming more sedentary…that , along with the menopause and hypothyroidism I knew I was stuck and had to break out of those chains. Initially I noticed my tummy reducing in shape, over a period of months I could see it being defined, lessened. My face lost its roundness, my cellulite has virtually disappeared. I have much more energy and I can walk now with energy in my step without gasping for breath. In three months I have lost 19 kilos, I’m back in size xl/42 - 40. In the last couple of days I have been called gorgeous and amazing..😂. I’ve inspired other people to cut out sugar and high carbs, it’s had a butterfly effect. Im still shocked and surprised when I look in the mirror, I look great, even if I say so myself.

Dr Berg; I have learned the solutions to my health issues from you. I used to go to the Dr in US often; and they would not be able to identify nor solve my problems . I still have a lot of digestive issues. One thytrophin PMG a night has helped me a lot. The other one is bile salts; that has helped me a lot too. My liver needs help as well as my thyroids and adrenals.

I like to boil mine. Hit the cow field after a summer rain, pick some cubes, boil them over a fire in a pot, strain the juice, drink it, kick back and watch the stars all night in amazement. Yup.

    Hello mr. Dr. Berg,
i study translation and interpretation at the Ege university in Turkey. I have to do an internship this sommer. I’ve been watching your videos for 3 years. I’ve realized that I’ve always had a problem to show someone speaking turkish, because most of the time my friends wouldn’t understand what you explain. For this reason i suggest a translation into turkish and german for my internship, when you agree with that. I’m looking forward to your message.
    Best Regards
    Tuna Cahit Gençyılmaz

    1. We are eating more sauerkraut - high vitamin C, once cabbage is fermented…
    2. Using the microwave less - which destroys up to 90% of some nutrients…
    3. Switched to salmon, top for omega 3s, from catfish & tilapia, which have virtually none, lol.

There are other even more important reasons and I say that as someone that loves mushrooms!
In the case of Agaricus mushrooms like the white button they have a carcinogen Agaritine which goes away when cooked.
Oyster mushrooms can cause alergic reactions to some people when raw.
Also some mushrooms like again white buttons are grown in poo, while usually the substrate they grow on is pasteurized and that should kill most pathogens but I wouldn't risk the parasitic infection.
I an a mushroom hunter and a lot of wild mushrooms are also toxic while raw but perfectly edible cooked. Some can be eaten raw in theory but I wouldn't risk it.

Eewwwww! That's the only mushroom which I can eat because it's mild in taste, have any suggestions on another type which has similar taste profile but not grown in poo 💩 😲

The timing of this video is significant to me because yesterday I ate raw mushrooms, and today was sick briefly with an episode that came on suddenly and then was over within a couple minutes. I've been scratching my head wondering what the heck .. and now I feel pretty sure I got my answer.

My gosh I was eating tons of raw mushrooms on my salads for three weeks. Yikes! I've been cooking them this week though. I was just tired of them raw lol. Between this and the overabundance of cruciferous vegetables no wonder I was having issues lol. Too bad I didn't see this video earlier.
