I agree with all of the positive comments below. I've been an Ezra fan for a while, but I'm new to hearing Gossage preview and he's nailing it!

So you didn’t notice speed control, angle control, huge elevation factor, extremely tight ob and hazard areas, water carry, down hill death puts, roll away potentials, even low ceiling shots on some holes? Yes there are a couple of easy less than 400 ft holes but they are tightly surrounded by ob ropes. Most holes require a precision shots with at least 450 ft distance. Add wind factor (>20mph) and you are toast.
disc golf played on a golf course is a lazy cop out. Throw it down a huge fairway, put some white lines everywhere, put the basket by the one and only tree. Terrible, lazy design, hardly creative.. the pro tour can't afford to play on real disc golf courses.

They actually don't try to talk over each other and really genuinely consider what each is thinking! Love this content and is becoming my go to channel to watch before the tournament starts. Great breakdowns and review of the course. Not enough players think about risk/reward and it's fun to see pros talk about how they gain that slight advantage. Ya gotta read the fairway and play to your strengths! Very insightful - Cheers!
Looks like an awesome course so far. I'm not usually a fan of the golf courses, but the elevation change on these holes makes it interesting to watch.

I do think the commentary about drop zones being too easy is very accurate, there should be zero drop zones inside C2 ever, period. And especially at a worlds course, there should be no easy holes or easy shots. It should be hard, not artificially hard, but extremely hard. And particularly since worlds is just another tournament in its current format where even tour championship is objectively harder to achieve vs say requiring anything special across a large portion of the season, if it’s not hard, is the person who wins really a “world champion” or just someone who won the right tournament. The current world championship format is kind of a joke.
I agree. Birdies should be very very hard to come by on a World Championship course
I like that it emphasizes and encourages going for the tough/stroke-gaining shot...to a degree. I'm excited to see how it plays out

Disagree it's like a song only having a breakdown. Differences in tempo changes the pressure and flow of the game of golf
@@Kryptic513 What does the amount of birdies matter to anything? You aren't playing against the course, but rather against other players. So what difference does it make if your score on a hole is called a "birdie" or "par" etc. The only thing that matters is what the score of the other players is. For example you could just make every single hole play one stroke easier or one stroke harder and absolutely nothing changes regarding the world championships. The player, who throws the least amount of throws, wins no matter the "birdie" amount lol...
Wonder how many pros like playing on wide open courses vs having fun shaping lines in the woods. I feel like unlike ball golf, disc golf is unique in its flight shapes. To play 18 holes of essentially wide open shots seems like so much talent not being used because it's mostly "how far can I throw" all day.
I love both of these courses
They both have their place.. being able to throw a disc 500+ ft accurately is a talent itself. To me, that’s more impressive than a 315 ft woods hole.
I'd be blacked out, possibly dead, if I drank every time they threw a backhand hyzer

So far, seems like quite a nice course. Looks like there will be quite a few OBs with the tight OBs near the baskets etc. But overall, pretty cool course.
Wild how few Ivy Hill videos there are. As of right now there's two from the Foundation guys, and one from Ezra.

Just for the record, they had this layout (more or less) for Battle for Bedford B Tier last fall, definitely a few extra pros came out to get a preview. Love seeing the permanent tee pads in, gives me hope they'll let civilians play it.

What Goose is describing at 8:20 is exactly what happened to me last year. I shot so much torque through my knee that I dislocated the kneecap and had to slam it back into place while blacking out on the teepad. Tore my MCL and Meniscus - out for 6 months. Stay safe boys.

Hole 4 my thoughts were to BH hyzer and try and skip o er the hay bails, if u come up short ur at the bails with a 25ft putt for par, and then Ezra goes and throws exactly what I was thinking. Seems like a good play to me but I'm not there. Good luck my guys!

That plant foot into the bricks on hole 2 by Goose can get dangerous...I injured my knee planting into something about 3 years ago, and I still get twinges. I was lucky not to tear something, hopefully people know to plant farther back and avoid that sort of thing.

I’ve played this course twice, both times I found myself throwing a beat in pig off the tee on the holes around 300’ down hill to avoid the OB

@ezra, Do you work out before you play a round?, or do you find that if you work out too close to a round, it changes how your arms react?
I almost always workout at the end of the day. The lactic acid build up isn't great for throwing lol
