Are you sure he was the one that came up with it? Maybe a smaller channel did it first, they just didn't call it masochist since it's hardly masochistic. Masochistic would be having a full power meta deck, and with every win you replace it with a low level power crept card until it's more useless that Magikarp and you get rolled by everyone.

TBH Jen I think ANY surrender should be considered a win . He obvs left cause he fucked up his combo that’s a W for you … the OTHER people doing this Challenge consider self TK a win and open a pack if they verse a self TK .. you guys need any breaks you can get SPECIALLY at the start when when a lot of your cards aren’t even playable… surrender = win

There was a deckbuilding series that was kinda like this a little while ago. The problem was that the winner got the reward, which means the winner keeps getting better, but the loser stays the same. This seems to be the trajectory this series is already on.

I think next episode yall need to redo your decks at the start. Yall are so used to having balanced decks that I noticed you removing monsters to add monsters instead of removing spells and traps that literally do nothing. Susu for example drew some vanillas with his legacy packs. They suck but at least they are playable monsters which at least means you will have things to set to buy time to draw something that gives you an out. Make sure every card in your deck can be played.

Hey guys I thought of another matchup you can do. A deck using Five Headed Dragon as its main boss monster vs a deck using Dragon Master Knight as its main boss monster. Two decks using the strongest fusion monsters from the original generation. I think it would be a fun matchup.
I also tried Masochist once and my favourite experiences was me beating a full on 3 Synchros blackwing board with wall of disruption and two 1800 ATK Monsters.
i have been running this challange myself the only diff is that for fun im doing it sort of like battle city where if i have a secret pack associated with the person i am playing i use that pack instead( somehow thats given me no decent cards) i basically just surrender against snake eyes, kash, and punk cause dont have anything to go into them I have come to the conclusion that at least bellow silver chain trap is a meta card that despite doing nothing against most decks causes random yields against ritual decks, raid raptor, and the average dm player
How did you guys get those opponents in rookie class, my first two duels were pro lvl with them using Ash, max C and syncro and pendulum decks and I had Cyber dragon deck, and I said no way I'm not good enough for this game with these cards.
