I mean Raiza the Storm Monarch feels like it should be on that list instead of Zaborg the Thunder Monarch. That way you'd have a fire, water, wind, and earth attribute monster. But then again Raiza's obviously the strongest of the four so maybe it should be Zaborg

Jinzo vs Buster Blader, Metal Dragon vs Flames Swordsman, Barrel Dragon vs Summoned Skull, Roaring Ocean Snake vs Empress Judge, Fiend Mega Cyber vs Sword Hunter, The Masked Beast vs St Joan, Paladin of White Dragon vs Humanoid Worm Drake, the XYZ fusions vs Dark Paladin, Legendary Flame Lord vs Dark Master - Zorc etc etc. Just a list of cards that seem interesting to match up.
I'm so glad this was suggested, these are my all time favorite bosses. And these decks yall built look similar to my current deck i run. Love it! im sad they are not competitive anymore.

Black Meteor Dragon was the OG boss monster from Forbidden Memories. Such a strong card in that game. 3500 is no joke. Meteor dragon is one of the coolest cards that never saw any play

I would love to see Red Eyes Dark Dragoon vs Destiny Hero - Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer And I would still like to see Vwxyz Dragon Catapult Cannon and Super Vehicroid - Stealth Union used in boss battles, and tho I doubt against eachother I would still love to see em'. not same era but should be fun to make anyway cyber twin dragon vs blue eyes twinburst dragon. since cyber dragons are actualy based on the blue eyes it would fit like a glove. and it would be fun to actualy see the double fusions instead of the triple ones for a change
Lol yah but blue eyes twin would just banish so cyber twin wouldn't even get the attack twice effect so literally it be up to having power bond and limiter removal or some equip cards to deal with that issue.

Meteor Black Dragon had to be strong enough to beat over BEWD in the movie it was introduced in, so its stats were determined by plot. They probably should've had "ATK is equal to the combined DEF of both monsters and DEF is equal to the combined ATK of both monsters" as a rule for REBD fusions, putting it at 4000 ATK/4200 DEF. Strong enough to get over BEWD, but still weaker than BEUD. This is probably _too_ strong, but it would lend credence to REBD being the dragon of potential in a consistent way.
He could have gotten the axe but it wouldn't have won him the game (unless I am missing something). He made the right call by not getting it back, gave him an opportunity to actually make a comeback.

Okay so now I think you should full send the Red-Eyes theme and have a rematch between Black Skull Dragon and Meteor Black Dragon but as Archfiend Black Skull Dragon vs. Meteor Black Comet Dragon, (and while I think you might still want to leave Red-Eyes Fusion out I think it would be cool if you also use Red-Eyes Archfiend of Lighting and Meteor Dragon Red-Eyes Impact) and then after that duel have the winner duel Red-Eyes Slash Dragon.
Maybe a good chalange: The Virus-Chalange nobody is allowed to play monsters with an attack over 1500. Maybe find a work around with burn dmg or other strats.
What about a case of head to head boss battles using the different fusion monsters caused using Fang of Critas vs Claw of Hermos (of course the Hermos user in this case has to equip their boss monster to who is attacking to win because how they work)
I think one big reason why they tend to do the older duels for this series is it is tougher to find two terrible boss monsters from around the same era with approximately equal power.
