in order to keep its monopoly in shipping, Singapore can play very dirty! For example, they overbid China at a ridiculous HIGH price for the 2nd stage of construction of the Gwadar Port in Pakistan, and then sitting on it for 5-6 years, doing NOTHING! Because they do NOT want to see the port completion, and post competition with Malacca strait which is their biggest money maker. Finally, Pakistan was forced to break the contract, and rebid, then China won, and then finished the port, but Singapore caused a lot of damage anyway. and Pakistan had to pay a huge fine to Singapore unfair practice. So I consider what happening now is a belated revenge from the God to Singapore!.
Problems lied on Parkistan which did not have huge amount of money to develop first the infrastructures and to sort out the problems in the development until China was willing to step in! In a poor country with terrorist activities, it is not simply a port construction!
We dwell in the ever changing world and the Kra Canal is incidental. The Thais do not plan it deliberately but even centuries ago, it was already on the agenda. The Kra eventually will impact on Singapore but not on other Asean countries.

Ccp is proposing a canal accross thailand bypassing good friend singapore.
In tat case CCP is not Singapore friend....CCP is frienemy...tis not how u treat ur friends by backstabbing them....distasteful 🤮
It will be Malaysia not Thailand. Thailand not even close. Port Klang is 11th/12th busiest in the world.
Not an issue. S'pore is China's #1 investor and yet they can commit such an act. So likewise they shouldn't be protesting either when S'pore does things for its own benefits but which may harm China. After all, self interest comes first as according to China.
@@leealex24 Actually, Malaysia protested to Thailand recently on this issue.
@@marktan8074 What ground?
Why do you worry. They have scholars who went on to become CEO , excellant on paper .
Singapore port is Americanised .
Strange description for a non-living thing.
No, no, no, cranes from Hyundai, Singapore port is Koreanized! lol.
Fake news
Its cos the previous and very experienced Transport Minister, S Iswaran, was forced to step down after being charged for corruption. He was replaced by a younger and less experienced man, Chee HT.
Iswaran is not indispensable. Singapore has a pool of younger visionary leaders. Test them out like every 5 years rotation of young 4G leaders to head another ministry.
Nonsense, Iswaran was forced to step down. Our CPIB officials are trusted professionals and will report on facts.
🇸🇬👍👍👍
Lots of Bullshit 😂
USA is declining in importance. As the largest debtor nation in the world, vs the largest Real Economy and creditor in the world, China is dumping the US.
Rubbish
Singapore economy will slowdown
Expensive!!!
Please don't make up story which did not happen.
There looks like will become a Situation of: "working for which country?" Then Trade is Important to Function As What It Means, To Just Remind That Shops Exist As A Place That "Anyone can passby to buy something". We are Not Many People: 4.5m Egypt, 4m Japan, 2m Saw People, 755k Secret society, (?) North Korean heard as "The Giver of License", we must maintain the workforce of Jobscope if imagine Catering To Buy, they are True Military Hidden Motives we should just look like living life to what it's meant to be.

No worries we have India with us.
Welcome to Vizhinjam Port, Trivandrum, Kerala, India. Having a natural draft of 24 metres which can accomodate world's largest motherships and very close to International shipping route( Just 10 nautical miles or 18.5 kilometres). We are welcoming the largest shipping companies in the world to Vizhinjam port from July 2024🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Good Times ar over...
Hahahahhaa lots of China cargo been transit from Singapore port even transhipment change company name made in Singapore Malaysia Indonesia....... Hahahahaha pitty Singapore port
in order to keep its monopoly in shipping, Singapore can play very dirty!
