I do honestly think...this might be the best out of the box Airsoft pistol on the planet While I still love the USP More, the robustness of this pistol just can't be denied In terms of both it's combat utility (optic ready, fully abmi, threaded, optic ready, suppressor height night sights, large mag baseplates, it ticks literally all the boxes) It also fits G17 Safariland style holsters And then there is the performance, this thing is focused with longevity in mind, with exception to the recoil spring being suspiciously thin and plastic, though no breakages just yet) this thing can hop .4's out of the box If you wanted a one and done pistol this would be it The only thing that annoyed me is any threaded barrels TM do are the real steel thread rather and just doing 14mm, which is a wierd effort to make them realistic given what TM pistols are... The magazine's however you are right, they are a BALLACHE to try and fill with propane adapters The amount of times I've been in a game and taken it out to shoot and it has puffed it's last shot is painful, you think you're filling them but they just piss gas everywhere tricking you it's full or filling, worse than MWS mags!
so true, and good tip about the safari land G17 holsters I never knew that. yeah this is a really good gun that I often lend to friends as I just know it'll work every time (as long as I filled the mags properly🤣) and I know what you mean about the feel of it, the slide just seems thicker and stronger somehow. great shooter too, classic TM goodness!
@@sogerc1 my decocker works, it requires a very stiff pull down but doesn't give any kind of audible click But as long as you pull it down far enough it will decock
@@Dizzyfatpigeon Thx again for the tip, you were right. This decocker is not like the ones on my USP pistols (both TM and KWA), on the USP if you pull the decocker down far enough the hammer falls, but on this one you have to pull it down far enough without feedback because the hammer only falls when you let go of the lever - if you pulled down far enough. I wonder if this behavior is copied from the real one. At least now I can decock the thing reliably.
Thanks for that information I still didn't know to this day. Hopefully I'll never have to take them apart but it is nice to have mags you can drop and they don't break. Very unusual for Airsoft!!
the USP is annoying to get a holster for but it feels better to shoot. the FNX is a tank .45 vs the 9MM USP. I really like both but the holster compatibility may be something to look at if you're using it as a secondary. performance is the same on both platforms, recoil is just more snappy on the USP but eh FNX is heavier so 6 of one half a dozen of the other
Great video! I'm in doubt whether the X300U-A replica is the best torch to go, as it doesn't fit firmly at the gun. Do you thing another flashlight could be better, like a olight pl-pro? Also, do you recommend the FNX-45 TM? Thanks!!
Thanks, I agree that the X300A isn't really the best option so I use an X300B with a thumb screw attachment. This means you get a tight lockup but I'm not sure if you can get replica X300B's 🤔 the PL-Pro would fit securely as you can tighten the clamp down on it.so it shouldn't wobble. Good Choice Sir! As for the FNX itself it has pretty standard TM performance but it's quite a bit bigger and chunkier than something like a Glock (being that it's a .45) also the mags are like tanks, just unbreakable. I like mine, with the surpressor and the rmr I think it looks cool and it can still shoot very far for a pistol. If you've had a TM before you'll know the performance, if not then it's pretty damn amazing. TM pistols are all great performers imo, it's all about the look you prefer.
@@OllieTalksAirsoft Thanks for the reply! Other question that I have is about the red dot of TM. I checked some reviews and the FNX-45 plataform to add the red dot seems specific to a TM red dot. What you thing about the red dot of TM? Is it a good option to go? Also, can you note some difference about the gun respond when you shoot with or without red dot, in other words, the gun become sluggish when you shot with red dot? Thanks!!
@@OllieTalksAirsoft haha it shoots like a dream, but mayby you could diy fix it by adding some super glue between the lose rail it should fix it if it bothers you to much 😉

Does your decocker work as easily as in the video? Mine doesn't want to work, I have to pull it down sharply.

To get the mag baseplate off, you must remove the fill valve. Then the baseplate slides off.

what is the thread of the barrel? 14mm? 16mm?
16mm
How did you remove the orange tip?
It's not a thing here in the UK so there was no orange tip
When installed with the x300u, does it fit in the Blackhawk omnivore holster?
yes It does
Great vid! Where did you get yours? Because I can't seem to find one that comes with the suppressor and red dot included?
I had to get the surpressor and rmr separately in the end, I couldn't find it all in one package either.
Okay thanks
Hi what is the model of the suppressor that you show in video ?
TM make one especially for the FNX in tan, it's a 16mm one.
Yep i found it
Great review thanks btw
@@366_ thanks buddy much appreciated and glad I could help!
The lower on mine doesn't pull down like yours does.
Does your plastic slide withstand the propane/ green gas without breaking?
Mine has held up fine with no damage, it's been used on Green Gas all through last summer too. It's poppy!!!

@OllieTalksAirsoft Ive got an Olight Baldr on mine
How this compare to the Cybergun FNX-45?
a lot lighter but still snappy and its pinpoint accurate.
The thread is 16mm. I was a tad disappointed when I tried to put my osprey suppressor on it and it didn’t fit.
I had the same, just stick to 14mm- !!!
My fnx doesnt have the problem with the lose railing my be a production fault

One thing I disagree with, IRL the slide looks pretty toyish, I should've gotten the black one, it's just that I wanted a companion for my FDE Scar-H.
Seam lines are on the real one.
