Heard Tom Wilson read this on CBC radio's Q interview with Tom Powers ... very powerful ... wishing you well in your journey to reconnect with your ancestors ... hoping you will find the comfort and peace you have been searching for throughout your life along the way ... your artwork is absolutely amazing as well ... chi miigwich for sharing your very personal journey with us ...
Song gave me chills.. I love it. First heard it on CBC a week ago, second time today and listened to the words and then looked it up on TH-cam.. I used to live near Kahnawake
wow....that was fantastic....found my bio fam when i was 34....i was adopted by white parents.... great parents ....but i had no idea growing up that i was native Canadian...neither did my parents... my adopted Dad was also in WWll RCAF ....huge generation gap
The artwork is Tom Wilson's paintings ... and a very pivotal piece of connecting with his ancestry ... I think they add to the power of the lyrics and his personal story.
Love this
Congratulations on your JUNO win for best contemporary roots album!
When I heard this mans voice on the radio this afternoon I so desired to search and learn about what I do not know!
Good work Tom you and Robbie Robertson should do an album together

I like this one. The throbbing song captures my soul.
Amazing! It resembles the late Mark Sandman ( Morphine ), a touch of Mark Knopfler, and many spectacular psychedelic arrangements. LOVED.
Wundervoll.
Yes ! So glad to find this golden nugget, thank you for creating this incredible song. It brings it home. Will put it on my show.
greata song and video
So very moving, Tom.
Beautiful song
Very powerful, Tom. True to your roots, with a 'dash of Leonard Cohen and DaVinci's Inquest'.

Mohawk wiki super..
Tbone style. 👍
See you at #Mariposa2019
and now I can not hear anything else!!!
familiar..
Love the style. It would be better without the visual lyrics. Don't need to read them after they've been spoken.
I'd prefer them on so to each their own. I'm sure they have versions of this song without lyrics so I'd suggest you enjoy those instead.
