Does Grizzly Industrial Delete Customer Reviews?

So after I purchased my Grizzly T27978 - 50-Ton Air/Hydraulic Shop Press I wrote a 3 star review. I'm a little disappointed that Grizzly at the making of this video still will not show my review on the website. They basicly paint the picture that all their reviews are 5 stars.

My Grizzly 20ton press leaks oil like crazy since day 1. Before I bought it, I asked specifically if it was a common issue and they said no. I absolutely hate this thing. I can't press anything without it squirting hydraulic fluid onto it. Absolute junk, waste of money.

Two days ago I submitted a review for a Grizzly T26413 arbor press and have yet to see it show up. I am convinced that they review the reviews and only post the positive ones. All of the reviews that actually show up are 5 stars except for one four star. I have noticed that this product page says there are 11 reviews but only 7 are visible. You can't page down and look at the rest of them. I suspect that the website just will not show reviews that have less than 4 stars or they don't show reviews in which the reviewers checked the box that they would not recommend to other buyers. In any case, I found this video because I was looking for someone else who had the same experience. Thank you.

Thanks so much for this video. I was going to buy a press from grizzly today but decided to pick another brand due to these dishonest tendencies from Grizzly. I’m worried if they are doing this then they must be doing other shady stuff and I need an honest manufacturer for what I’m doing. I need a company I can trust.

I have an old Sigurd Stenhoj 15T press. It weighs about the same as that Grizzly and has a true 2 speed pump (manual-foot operated).

Why didn't you show it working after the fix? How much did that improve it?

Well showing it not leaking would be like showing you paint drying there's really nothing to see hahaha. I will say it hasn't leaked a single drop of oil since I made that modification so it works great

Didn't you say that it improved how fast the ram came down? It sped it up, I'm curious how much faster it got .
A friend has this machine he got used. I've topped it off and purged the air, it builds up pressure but you can go eat lunch while it's coming down. I appreciate your video because now I know but to waste anymore time on it. I wasn't trying to be critical, I'm genuinely, personally very curious

@@steelroseforge5044 Thanks for asking. :) mine was going slow because it was leaking. When it stopped leaking it went back to stock speed. I've got a couple other videos that show how fast it goes. :)

to me, it looks like a 20 ton press frame with what is supposed to be a 50 ton ram. That can be dangerous. A real 50 ton press is at least $6000.00 and the press frames are quite a bit bigger than that press. Grizzly is nothing more than "a little bit better" than harborfreight at a higher cost.

I've got a couple of 50T presses and this thing is not even in the same league. It looks like a 20T frame, and a bottle jack pump with springs to return the ram?? This is nothing but dangerous garbage. I hope you didn't charge more than $300 new for that thing.
