I have wanted this one for so long. I have to work 12 hour days all week long. Hopefully, ill get a day off soon to tackle this amazing song. Thanks, Nate.
Mr Nate sir thank you so very much this is just fantastic thank youI also love this song and I know exactly what you're talking about just can't get enough of it thank you again Teddy😊
Hello in KOREA!!! LONG time NO see~!! Great tutorial ! This song is one of my favorites of the beatles~!! And I'm so happy to see this lesson~! Hope you lesson me another beautiful song called "REAL LOVE" god bless you and thanks a million~!!!
After listening to "She's leaving home" again I realize how difficult a piano translation would be. So many different instruments. Harp, violins, etc. You did an amazing version on "Something". Im.still learning it. I want to be able to play all the basslines. Thats what really guves the song its unique sound.
You are my only favourite teacher on here for piano, i wondered if you could do one for river flows in you by Yiruma if possible? You explain it a lot better
Excellent lesson! Nice chord voicings. I really like what you did trying to replicate Paul’s bass lines. I enjoyed your guitar solo. I think it would be cool to try to replicate the guitar solo on piano.
Hi. Nate. Always love your beatles tutorials. I've recently watched A hard day's night on the TV. My favourite song is If I fell. Would you consider doing a version of this please. Lyn
While I had already learned a relatively simple version of Something, I scrapped all that and started over with your version. Great work Nate, it has never sounded so good! As usual, I have another request for you to add to the list ;). Do you think you could do a tutorial on "God" from John Lennon?
Thanks Nate. I just finished learning this one today. I loved the bass at the end of the verses and in the bridge, fun to play. Could you do another Pattie Boyd inspired song, Wonderful Tonight by Eric Clapton?
Awesome, thank you so much! I don't have a patreon - if people wish to support they can use this link: www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted_button_id=YWK4H7C57P2VE And to support while going deeper with the learning, check out my courses: www.pianowithnate.com/ Cheers!
Hello Nate, I love what you do; it helps me a lot. When I listen to your videos, there are often inversions. So, I have to write on the sheet music what the inversion is below the note. Would it be possible to have the inversion or the original position written on the music sheet? Thank you so much, and keep up the great work-I adore it! 😊
Thanks for the kind words! That's an interesting idea and I'll mull it over. I've been hesitant to overburden the sheets with too much information...I will think about how this could work
Hey, Nate! I LOVE THIS SONG!! Can you try to work on piano man by billy joel next? I would really appreciate it. I havent found a good tutorial on that song so it would help so much if you do decide to upload its tutorial. Anyways, thanks for the help, I consider you my piano teacher. Cheers!
Nate - will you please teach us how to play and sing Famous Blue Raincoat? I have the chords and sheet music but I need your magic tips on simple rhythm for accompaniment. Thanks!,
can you please sometimes do "killer queen" by queen or "i think I'm going to k*ll myself "(i'm not sure should i censor it or not) by Elton John ? I think those are gonna be pretty good sounding and challenging for piano
Hey Alan! I played it around 115 BPM and the original version is around 130. Google “tap tempo” it’s a great tool to find the bpm of any song you’re listening to :)
I play the intro just slightly different. I play the second F, then F4, A5, together. Then F3, C5 together, then A#5, then A5, then I play Eb then G/D like you do
I approve! It's hard to perfectly express that part on piano because its a guitar note bending down from C to A, but your version does a good job of getting at the implied melody.
I changed my mind, Nate. Your way of playing the intro is much easier. Sounds great and less hand movements. Its more efficient. My way of playing is more difficult at the end of the verse.
