The ending was NOT good! Some prominent story lines were not wrapped up or explained in any way. Overall, this final episode was only slightly better than the final episode of "How I met your mother".
You mention how Bernadette's voice changes as the character evolves, but what about some of the other things: 1/ Sheldon's famous knock doesn't start for several episodes into the first series (he does it at least three times in one episode so we get used to it). Up to that point he knocks normally, for example, check the second episode when he knocks on Penny's door to apologise for Leonard and he tidying her apartment while she was sleeping. 2/ If you remember in later series Leonard has asthma - but in one of the episodes of the first series when he thinks Penny has rejected him, he talks about getting a cat, and says he has taken into consideration SHELDON'S asthma. 3/ When Leonard first takes Penny out for a meal (pretending the others were going to join them) he bangs his head on the underside of the table and is bleeding. Penny takes him home, and he apologises for vomiting in the car as he gets car sick. Yet later episodes it becomes a recurring scene that he drives Sheldon, as well as Penny, his mother, etc... 4/ "Bazinga" doesn't start until the end of the second series, when (like his knock earlier on) Sheldon uses it several times through the episode to get it fixed in our minds. It's then only used sporadically in future series. 5/ When Penny berates the guys, and Leonard in particular, for having toys (she missed a shift because the guys had blocked the stairs trying to get the H. G. Wells's "Time Machine" to the apartment), Leonard decides he's going to sell all his super-hero stuff to "Lawrence" at the Comic Book Store - later changed to "Stuart". 6/ In an early episode Penny refers to her dad being called "Bob", but when the character appears, Leonard calls him "Wyatt". 7/ "That's my spot..." Despite in the very first episode Sheldon tells Penny not to sit in his spot - and explains why he likes it - for several further episodes people sit in his spot, (for example while he is at his laptop) and he doesn't make a thing of it. Also, when he goes to Penny's he carefully selects a place to sit, "I think in future this will be my spot". But later episodes he sits in several different places. He also goes to Raj's and just sits straight away on the sofa, although his comments make it seem like he hasn't visited there before. 8/ Reusing actors. In one episode Sheldon's World of Warcraft account has been hacked and all his stuff taken. Howard manages to track down where the hacker lives and they go and, thanks to Penny kicking the hacker "in your special place", they get Sheldon's stuff back. So, how come he is at Howard's Bachelor Party (or "Stag do" as we say in England) at the restaurant a few episodes later? At one point you can see him over Howard's shoulder, then at the table he is sat next to Captain Sweatpants. Or is this a hint that it was Howard that arranged for Sheldon's account to be hacked?
And how in episode 1, Sheldon and Leonard want to donate their sperm, whilst later on Sheldon is appalled by these things and Sheldon doesn't need the money as referenced in the episode where penny loans money from him. and how in Season 1 Sheldon drinks red bull and other energy drinks, yet a few episodes/seasons later he "tries" it for the first time and he loses control
Have to check out point 2, thats interesting, with the rest you are totally right. Except maybe for the 3rd one, because as you stated we see Leonard driving. Car Sickness can depend on where you sit, for example driving through the alps can make people who sit in the back dizzy, while sitting in front helps them to anticipate the road and helps them (dont know how to describe it better) Have the same thing when i watch other people play FPS games, i cant endure it for more than 20 minutes but can waste myself much longer when playing myself, maybe thats the same for driving to some
There is one mistake I noticed, in the episode where Penny plays Halo and is really good! Besides them all randomly pressing buttons which is NOT how you play Halo haha, Halo night changed nights in a week. I cant remember which way round but I think it was Friday night initially, because they showed the next morning as saturday morning. And Friday night is Vintage video game nigh. Then later they ask Penny to play again but Penny says for her WEDNESDAY is go out dancing night, after Sheldon tells her its Halo night.I caught a couple of other mistakes but I cant remember them now! Still a brilliant show though!
I am surprised you did not mention Howard's Mom's picture is on the refrigerator in Leonard and Penny's apartment. They put it there when the actress who played Howard's Mom's voice passed away. It has been there ever since.

Penelope is her first name, Penny is a oft used nickname for Penelope. He meant she had no surname. However, he confused a cello with a violin and that was annoying so yeah.

I don't know if anyone noticed that the psychic Penny took Sheldon to, told Sheldon that having a committed relationship with Amy will help him to bring all his pursuits to focus, and it's actually true, the thing Sheldon wanted the most all his life was a Nobel which he got after getting married to Amy. Maybe it's not related but just an observation...
Penny's last name is "Teller" it was shown in an episode where she received a package and her first and last name is visible on the address label. Also the show's creators are huge fans of the magic/comedy team Penn & Teller. Notice that Teller plays Amy's father in the show.
The creators debunked this as being canon - a last name was made up quickly for the sake of the prop (re: Penn and Teller) but it was never meant to be legible, so not her real last name!
0:28 - The deep connection between "73" and "314". Apart from being the numbers of the Pi constant, 314 also stands for March 14 - the birthday of Sheldon's hero Albert Einstein. Curiously, March 14 is also the 73rd day of each year! (not counting leap years) Didn't expect that, eh? Also, since Sheldon was brought up by a deeply religious mother, 73 is also the number of books in the Catholic Bible!

You also forgot that in an earlier season Penny mentioned that when her pet pig had died her family didn’t have a funeral they had a barbecue. In the episode when she called her dad to tell she and Leonard had gotten married her dad also had some news for her as well...her pig Moon Dance had died. Then Bernadette and Amy teased her about eating the pig for breakfast....Penny said, no we do not eat our family pets. Well that’s not what she said before. You also forgot in the episode when Penny took Sheldon to Disney Land with her Leonard warned her not to let him near Goofy, he was afraid. She asked why. He said I don’t know he’s fine with Pluto. In the last seasons Sheldon overcame his fear and had petted Pluto. He was never afraid of Pluto it was Goofy he was afraid of.

Castin Directors cast children of actors to portray their younger selves, all the time. It's not unlike how animated characters are made to look similar to their voice actors. Similar features make characters more believable...

Penny's last name was Teller before she became a Hofstadter. In the episode "The Work Song Nanocluster" (season 2, episode 18) , she started a new business making flower barrettes and called it "Penny Blossoms." At one point in the Big Bang Theory episode, Sheldon delivered a package of her materials and on the box was her full name.
On a side note, Flash has used a big bang T-shirt, it said "Bazinga" on it. As have other characters, Cisco for example has wore a "this is my spot" T-shirt
I don't get this video. How can you notice that title was once meant to be: "Lenny, Penny, Kenny", or the fact that "bazinga" comes from joke that happened on the set. At least 70% of these have nothing to do with perception, and are simple facts...
Dominik Pucuła Actually there is an episode of Young Sheldon all about how he started saying “Bazinga!” Which is funny after finding out here there is really no reason for it except the grapefruit story. They decided to give Bazinga a backstory. But that is stupid about the name, we couldn’t notice something we never knew! What a dreadful name, glad they didn’t use it. Kenny? Ugh!

It was announced today that this is the final year. Damn, I am really going to miss it. It's the only show I watch without fail and own every season on DVD. Thanks for a wonderfully entertaining show.
So glad to know I'm not the only one who only watches TBBT. Nobody believes me when I tell them it's literally all I watch. Have all the dvds too. Im surprised that wasnt mentioned. Anyway, galecki got a lot of cast members in other shows hes been on in the big bang theory. Originally he was the star of the show since he was the most famous from roseanne. In time i think jim parsons stole the show the way urkel stole the show in family matters.

Then in the ep The Boyfriend Complexity they refer to her dad as Wyatt, in some places their friends refer to people by their surnames. So that would make him Bob Wyatt and then Penny as Penelope 'Penny' Wyatt.
You neglected to mention how the Sperm Bank receptionist who appeared right at the start of the first episode went on to work at the hospital in the emergency room and the intensive care wing, but also travelled into the past to appear in YOUNG SHELDON; also Raj dated the university ancillary worker who several years previously had discovered Sheldon living in the buildings by night
On the episode of the physics bowl where raj, Howard and Leanord talk about who's going to be their 4th member, Raj says "You know who is apparently really smart? The girl you played T.V's Blossom. She got a PhD in neuroscience or something" The girl he was talking about was Mayim Bialik, who we now know of as Amy Farah Fowler.
Then why do they have a dart board on their door. When did Bernadette go from Cheesecake Factory to become an executive at a pharmaceutical company. And how about the guest star dead pool. And who would have been next
More on Penny. Penny's mum is played by Katey Segal, who also plays Kaley Cuoco's character's mum in 8 Simple Rules. Kaley Cuoco really needs to be in an episode of NCIS (wouldn't that be cool). Don't know if they've stopped making them now, so it might have to be one of the spin-offs (with Mark Harmon making a cameo appearance). One time, Leonard tries introducing Penny to Buffy the Vampire Slayer by getting her to watch Season 1. He should have had her watch Season 8 of Charmed instead.

More thing to notice 1. when they first showcase Amy's mother (ep when she wants to introduce Sheldon to her mom), the actress is different to the one plays her mom in the later season when sheldon and amy got married. 2. In the episode when Penny took sheldon to a psychic when he was struggling with his carrer change in physics, the pyschic says to sheldon that everything will come to their place when he commits himself to his relationship with Amy, and they came up with the idea to help them win the nobel price at their wedding. Turns out that the psychics was right.
Teressa Scott they also missed another side note. Johnny and Sara characters dated on Rosanne and Sheldons mother Lori Met Alf was the aunt on Rosanne as well.
When you mentioned Mayim Bialik (Aimy) saying Blossom and Joey as Halloween costumes, in the scene reference of Blossom, that was Johnny Galacky right there...

#19 is Young Sheldon? So one of the "Details I totally missed on the Big Bang Theory" is the entirely different show that they have been advritising for almost 2 years. And has been on the air for over a year. I can't believe i missed that. I must have blinked during every one of the 10,000 commercials that play during the Big Bang Theory. I did notice they never said Penny's last name through the entire series up until the series finale where Sheldon was thanking all his friends and asking them to stand. He called out everyone by their full name and when he got to Penny he said "Penny Hofstadter". That was the first time in the entire series that someone said her last night. She never had the last name Johnson because she admits she thought it was a fake wedding so she would have never gone and changed her last name to his. Sorry this comment was so long, Big Bang was my all time favorite sitcom so I know alot about it 😁
I hoped for that too. but i wondered what story could they give? As the whole 12 seasons showed us so much. I wish that they could think of unique story that it would exceed people's expectations.

I thought penny surname was wyatt as that's her dad's name but when penny 1st talks to Leonard mom about her dad she calls him Bob, so calling her dad wyatt could be reference their surname

Having Laurie Metcalf trying to play a 25 year younger version of herself is unnecessary as the show isn't about her, it's about Sheldon; & would be unrealistic without extensive time in make up every episode. Face neck hand hands would need to be changed. Zoe Perry is her daughter and while they may not look exactly alike they definitely sounds alike.
@Hanga Molnár - Thats the way, Sheldon described him - and he is a genious who seems to not like any alcohol at all for a long time in the show ("wine, grape juice that burns" - :-) ). From his point of view, his father was pretty stupid and drank lots of alcohol.

im a big fan. ive watched every episode too many times! sheldon hasnt always done his three knocks. he explains why he does the 3 knocks and claims hes done it since he was a kid

Middle of the Seventh Season was when Penny found out she accidentally Vegas-married Zack Johnson, not the beginning of Season 9 that's when she married Leonard.
Unless Penny and Zack went to the Clark County Marriage licenses Bureau and got a license there then they are not legally married. Also you can not buy a license if ether party appears to be intoxicated.
Mayim Bialik was mentioned in a season 1 episode, The Bat Jar Conjecture when Raj suggested getting "the girl who played Blossom" to be on their physics bowl team. Also, Bernadette loses her high pitched voice in The Holographic Excitation when Howard mocks her she replies in her normal voice, "I don't sound like that."
Leonard was playing a cello with Leslie who was playing the violin. Just because you're playing a string instrument with a bow doesn't make every string instrument a violin.
Kripke should have officiated at Sheldon's and Amy Farrah Fowler's wedding, coopting the "Mawwiage" monolog from "The Princess Bride". Lost opportunity.

I don't know if anyone noticed that the psychic Penny took Sheldon to, told Sheldon that having a committed relationship with Amy will help him to bring all his pursuits to focus, and it's actually true, the thing Sheldon wanted the most all his life was a Nobel which he got after getting married to Amy. 1. when they first showcase Amy's mother (ep when she wants to introduce Sheldon to her mom), the actress is different to the one plays her mom in the later season when sheldon and amy got married.
2. In the episode when Penny took sheldon to a psychic when he was struggling with his carrer change in physics, the pyschic says to sheldon that everything will come to their place when he commits himself to his relationship with Amy, and they came up with the idea to help them win the nobel price at their wedding. Turns out that the psychics was right.

I did notice they never said Penny's last name through the entire series up until the series finale where Sheldon was thanking all his friends and asking them to stand. He called out everyone by their full name and when he got to Penny he said "Penny Hofstadter". That was the first time in the entire series that someone said her last night. She never had the last name Johnson because she admits she thought it was a fake wedding so she would have never gone and changed her last name to his. Sorry this comment was so long, Big Bang was my all time favorite sitcom so I know alot about it 😁

Having Laurie Metcalf trying to play a 25 year younger version of herself is unnecessary as the show isn't about her, it's about Sheldon; & would be unrealistic without extensive time in make up every episode. Face neck hand hands would need to be changed. Zoe Perry is her daughter and while they may not look exactly alike they definitely sounds alike.
