Almost went for the Miyoo Mini but it looked too tiny for me. Since I am going to use this 90% or more at home as might as well pay $40 less (current prices) and get a bigger screen, more comfortable controls. I guess I will find out soon if I made right decision.

I just got one. Be careful first when ordering on Ali. I wanted a Gray and somehow ended up with the crystal purple. Not a deal breaker but I wanted that classic gameboy color. Second, the mame games are paltry. If you're looking for lots and lots of arcade games you'll be disappointed. I wanted the original golden axe and death adder games but you'll have to settle for the genesis versions. Basically this is a great system for playing all those mini home systems and PS1. Yes it has neogeo but other than a few fighting games I was never into that system. Additionally if you're looking for NBA jam or any sports games, good luck. You'll only get the genesis and snes versions which arent very good imo. For $60 it's a fun little device to kill time with. Especially if you've never played some of the GBA games. But I think if you're looking for lots of classic arcade games you'll be disappointed.
@@man0grc Nope. There may be ps1 versions or something but like I said the mame selections are super limited. Maybe I shouldve splurged for the one w 5000 games
@@ChronikSpartan Cool, though I think people will still use ROMs (SD reader peripheral w/ the Game Boy cartridge's) even with the Pocket for rare games but this is also cool, yup Analogue's expensive.

@@jonathonearl482 well yeah that's on my to buy list tbh. But I'm thinking in the budget handheld realm as it'll be a bit more saving before the steam deck is an option for me
These exist and or are coming. The challenge of them will always be the pocketability and price though. Once you get past PS1 those devices need dual joysticks and a 16:9 ratio. Both of those features just take more real estate. I think also when you talk about Gamecube and up, those devices are going to higher end and the companies making them or planning for them aren't necessarily making them with emulation in mind. The problem with that, is from what I can see the trend is going to be go all out putting the best high refresh screens and other tech in them that may or may not really add to emulation. I think I even saw some newer advance handhelds promising to be a VR hybrid. To me, what makes this device in the video special and Miyoo Mini is it cuts away all the fat. Theres literally very little waist in these products for the job they are meant to do. I think the gaming community got lucky with the Steam Deck because Valve is essentially subsidized by Steam AND its first iteration really had a zero waist design. As time goes on, I imagine the Steam Deck will thrive by becoming more complex then may be needed for emulation.
It looks nice and all but why do so many portrait handhelds have to mimic the design and colors or the DMG Gameboy? Why not give it a more interesting look? I've seen the renders for the Trimui Smart Brick, that design looks far more intriguing!

R4 Ridge Racer 4
I've just ordered one from eBay can't wait
Awesome purchase! You're gonna love it!!
How does this compare to the Powkiddy RGB20S? Is it really that much better?!
I want a Miyoo Mini PLUS but preorders are sold out Keep Retro site might take months to delivery. I might just call it a day and get this
You can try this MechDiy, it's where I'm getting mine from bit.ly/3IDwr2D
@@ChronikSpartan any idea when will they ship?
To be honest i wanna get the RG353v but i dont wanna pay 150 for it 😅
quick question the second sd slot do you just need format it to fat32 and make same folder for roms
I've ready you insert the card, power the device on and it'll create the folders automatically. Then power it off and add games to the folders
Did you get Sega CD games to work?
Did the new garlic update fix the gameboy color black an white problem?
It can't use one 512gb card?
Ooooh, this one looks luverly!
It is a beauty!

Coolness. Is it better than the Analogue Pocket.
God bless.
For ease of use and price, it's definitely better. Although I know some people have a strong love for the Pocket and it's use of physical carts.

Cant wait to play Pyramid Magic 3 again on this

Apologies buddy, link is now in description 👍
Does anybody know if it comes with the hdmi out cable
You have to buy the cable separately
Nice but I think I'm going to continue to hold out until we have a device emulating up to xbox, gamecube, and ps2 plus access to cloud gaming
