Today let's talk about tape versus glue. If you're considering which one to use, it's important to weigh the pros and cons of each. While there's no one-size-fits-all answer, I'll lay out the advantages and disadvantages of both.
First, let's discuss poly bases. Glue tends to work better with poly bases, providing a stronger hold without risking damage to the base. However, using tape on a poly base can be risky-it sticks so hard that it can tear the base when removing. This has happened to me multiple times, and it's not worth the risk.
On the other hand, lace bases tend to pair better with tape. The tape sticks well enough to provide a secure hold but doesn't risk damaging the lace base when removing. However, applying glue directly to a lace base can destroy it, so it's crucial to apply the glue to your scalp and let it cure before attaching the lace.
So, which is better? It depends on your preference and the type of base you have. If you're looking for convenience and a reliable hold, tape might be the way to go. But if you want a more natural appearance and don't mind the extra maintenance, glue could be the better option.
Ultimately, the choice is yours. Experiment with both methods to see what works best for you. And if you have any tips or tricks for rebonding hair systems, I'd love to hear them!

Glue is always better if you have a Poly perimeter to Glue on and not damage the Lace. Tape is better for Lace but it can Damage it sometimes in places pulling the Tape off. It depends on what kind of Caps you get and some are stronger than others and have Poly perimeter for Gluing and I think that they are better when you are wearing a Full Lace Cap.And Tape is alright if you take your Hair off and Rebond it more often because the Bond doesn't need to last as long as Glue. And I think that a lot of people are afraid to try Gluing your Hair so they keep using Tape because they think that it is easier.

Would tape be okay with a thicker poly system? Like 0.06mm?

Hi do you need a color ring? Heat would damage the hair. :)

Make a Template of your Head first and then pick out your Hair. Most important thing is to get a better made Cap and try your Hair down in front instead of trying to make an Exposed Hairline right away and just pick the color of Hair you want and don't let it scare you so much man you will like it when you get it and get it on your Head. Why do you need to use Heat?

@@LaVividHairSystemI think that he is just worried about making the wrong decision first time getting Hair and it will be better later on when he knows what it is like wearing your Hair and what you need to do with it and what works best for you.

Clips are very convenient, too. Our pre-cut service could add clips to the systems. :)
