    I haven't been to the dentist in about 20 years. I have mobility issues and would probably break the chair. I hope to someday get my teeth checked. Right now I'm trying to heal the infection myself.

    • @DentistJess
      @DentistJess  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for commenting. There’s general dentists that work in a hospital setting and have lifts to help patients get in and out of the dental chair, and special modifications for patients with mobility issues. I would highly suggest seeing if there’s a hospital dentist where you live to have that infection checked out!

    Thank you for making such detailed videos! I haven’t been to the dentist in years but I really need to. I had a bad experience and my anxiety is really bad mainly because I hate the gum poking part. Watching your videos makes me feel more comfortable and makes me want to go back soon!

    Most of my patients dont like the disclosing dye, but I think its a very good way to show them in the mirror that which parts they have missed while brushing there teeth before the came to the dental office.
    thanks for the video

    • @DentistJess
      @DentistJess  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree! I think it’s helpful to show patients the particular spots they may be missing.. it makes it visible. But it can get all over the tongue/cheeks/lips etc. so it can be a little frustrating to fully remove 😉

    There's been a debate in our household recently that I feel you could settle. What is the correct order when brushing your teeth? Floss, brush, rinse. Brush, floss, rinse. Floss, brush, floss, rinse. What is the correct way to do it?

      @DentistJess  ปีที่แล้ว +1

    • @DentistJess
      @DentistJess  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would love to I just have to find the right patient to film 😉 but a deep cleaning is very similar you just go up deeper under the gums to clean the root surfaces! It can be a little more painful so we often will give some anesthetic to help make it less uncomfortable for you 😊

    Hi Jess, ur vlog about cleaning at dentist, it is really interesting. 😁😎👍
    I have question...I am curious to know if you or dental hygienist still able to allow to use ultra scaler (machine) to clean patient's teeth? 🤔🤷‍♂️
    Cos recently my hygienist cleaned my teeth using hand manual scaler because ultra scaler is not allowed to use of water aerosol due to covid regulations.
    I wonder if ultra scaler using by dentist or dental hygienist is allowed in your country?🤔🤷‍♂️
    What type of toothbrush should be used to brush teeth. I use soft (brittles) toothbrush but my hygienist advised to use toothbrush with medium brittles to give balance when brush teeth.
    Interesting that u brush with fluoride on patient's teeth? For me, no cos I assume fluoride in toothpaste is enough?
    I like my teeth being polished after cleaning by hygienist make my teeth feel fresh and cleaned. I admit I like hygienist cleaning my teeth using hand manual scaler rather than ultra scaler.
    I ask question, do ultra scaler remove bits of teeth like enamel off?
