I recently decided I want a CQC-7B. The waveless version. I could go either way, but I know I wouldn't use the wave feature so I figured I'd go waveless. Of course you end up with one of these now to show off 😎It's this or try to get a ZT 0620 but those are not only rare but fetch nearly double the price of a new CQC-7. Just waiting for one to show up on the secondary or in-stock on Emerson's site now.
Really like that thunderstorm finish. Looks way more reflective than a normal blackwash finish. Never had an Emerson myself. I dig the A100. Might just have to pick one up.

Benchmade did a version a couple decades ago, the 975. They're pretty easy to find on the secondary, and usually not that much.
