Love the length and weight. Helps to keep tension light. Would suggest chipping in the extra for the ebony. I got lighter wood and had to exchange due to drag. The ebony slides much easier.
This is the one I have from Furls. I got it for free when they had the promotion. This hook is great. I have the 4.5 hook size. I usually used amour hook and my fingers hurt after awhile. But with this furl hook, I can crochet for hours and my fingers don’t hurt at all. It’s worth the investment I think.
The problem with these hooks is their so long from the ergonomic part to the hook end that if you have small hands, like I do then the ergonomic part of the hook hangs out of the back of your hand and is of no benefit to the comfort of your hand at all. I think Furls should really take into consideration and look into people with small hands. I bought a G and an H and they sit in the box, BTW they do snag and split the yarn.
Thank you for your comment. I have child sized hands, and have definitely hesitated to buy a Furls Hook of any style, because they are all pretty long. I presently use the Clover Amours, snd they are a perfect fit. I have wanted to ask about how the Furls hooks work for those with small hands.
Thank you, Kim... I have been thinking about trying a couple of the Furlschooks, but have hesitated because I have child sized hands.. The Furls hooks look sooo long. I thunk I will stick to my Clover. Amours. They fit my hands perfectly, and I can crochet for hours with them.
These look great. Ordered one to try. Glad to see they are starting to make some more reasonably priced hooks. Hopefully some of the ones that were marked sold out will come back into stock. I need that 5mm lol.

How do these slide with the yarn or string? Do they get stuck ive never used wood hooks before. Id also like to know how expensive these hooks are compared to the ones you buy in the store. Thank you for your time and videos i love them. Happy holidays

how to make your own using Sculpy or Fimo .

If you want a fantastic hook that glides like butter across your yarn get amour clover hooks
