I went to a men's rights and issues conference and antifa assaulted the head speaker and an attendee and were loudly singing, chanting and banging pots and pans before and through the entire conference and tried to blockade the entrance.
They were chanting about fascism and misogyny etc without ever actually listening to the speakers who were talking about self deletion among men, DA, circumcision, homelessness etc. There was no talk of misogyny or fascism. This is what happens when men openly talk about what is bothering them.

I'm 52,and haven't been ok since my wife l divorced me,and because of that my whole family disowned me. My ex knew what she was getting into when we got married. I was a U.S. Marine and former Military Contractor. I proudly look back on my time in service and always smile. But the shit I did while I was serving has really fucked me up. The VA here in the states is supposed to help Vets, but they do more harm than good. Im all alone because my family abandoned me, and my so called friends only call me when they need me to help them. This video put me in tears because I can relate to it so much. Yeah Marines cry. I struggle daily ,but I'm trying to stay positive. Thank you Isaac for posting this from the bottom of my heart. Might it provide some resemblance of unity and family, if you could be around fellow troops? As a Dutchy and supporter of troops, the VA and "support" for US Vets has made me cry. I can't believe the disrespect you all get.
My thinking about holidays and mental health of troops, got me to think of forming a group, on base, for any troop, any age. To be a family. Troops suffer enough and some have non to go home to, but you love your battle brothers and sister. Wouldn't it be awesome to have on base communes that show life can take anything from you. But you'll always have a place to come back to. My thinking was this could be a great help, but I do not have the experiences you have, so you would be best to judge if it would. I hope you will find your light in the dark. Please, keep your head up.

I am a man and i am not ok.
I was taught to put on a smile for the world.
I was told to never show emotions because that is weakness.
I was told to never open up to anyone because they will think less of you.
I was shown that women hate men who talk about their feelings and problems.
I was informed i am worthless if i am not a top earner.
I saw I was the one who had to be strong when others cannot be.
I am a man and I am not okay.
All of these things are summed up pretty easy in one sentence.
I am a man... And I am expendable...
This is the lesson we are all taught as men. We are only worth our value based on what society says and right now... We are worth what our bank account and social media presence is. Wear the mask and be complacent in your role.
I AM A MAN... AND I AM NOT OKAY.

Mate, it's really hard. I'll offer you a little bit of advice to try to make everything a little better.
A man needs goals. Work out something you want to do and try to achieve it. You have to make the goal challenging but acheivable. Work out what you need to do to get there. You have to assess your progress. If you aren't jumping the hurdles on your way to achieving your goal, then reassess how you are going to get over the hurdles.
Without goals, we are nothing. I made it to 36 before I learned this lesson.
      You can do this.

The other day, I helped my best friend. He came to my place with a bicycle. But when he wanted to leave there was heavy rain, so I said I will take you to your place with my car, We will put your bike into the back of the car. My car isn't the biggest, so the bike front wheel would poke out. I strapped down the boot of the car and the bike, and I drove him home without any problem. And here comes the point. He said I did well and also that He couldn't do it that fast. I felt this. A genuine praise from someone. I don't know when was the last time I got a genuine praise for my work.

Sometimes I feel like everyone besides me and 100% gay men are the only people on the planet that think men are actually attractive. I just don’t get it. If I’m being completely honest men are just as gorgeous as women if they work for it just like women. In many ways, at least in my opinion, I feel like men are severely underrated looks wise and it might be their own doing. For gods sake they gain muscle so much faster and have angular faces and strong bone structures. It’s considered straight up gay and plain feminine to even shave your face or body but body builders do it. If you have a hair care or skin care routine that’s effeminate and you’re gay even if you arent sexually attracted to other men. None of these stereotypes and logics drilled into my head since I was a young boy make sense because that’s how you choose to be physically attractive. You fucking take care of yourself. You try to have a style and personality and do what you think looks good but it just seems society has lied to men and made every single little thing that a man can do either feminine or masculine. Why the fuck am I getting called a f***** for having long well kept hair and shaving everyday. If I try to be a smidge gorgeous or alternatively attractive and to not look like a hulking bear it’s f*****try. Who even cares if I like men for one and two I work my ass off burning and cutting myself every single day with scars all over my body like how men are expected to work but if I work on the way I look and if it resembles anything that a woman does I’m considered dainty, prissy, stupid, and unmanly. I am 110% a goddamn man whether anyone thinks I’m masculine or feminine. My life experiences thus far are the way that they are because I have a penis. I act like I have one, I work like I have one, I talk like I have one, and think like I have one. With all that being said why can’t men and women meet in the middle and stop this bullshit about you’re a woman your feminine your prissy, your a man your masculine your emotionless. How about people just be the best versions of theirselves and like what they like.

They were chanting about fascism and misogyny etc without ever actually listening to the speakers who were talking about self deletion among men, DA, circumcision, homelessness etc. There was no talk of misogyny or fascism. This is what happens when men openly talk about what is bothering them.

We haven't been for years but the last 4/5 years I've noticed a massive shift in men's mental stability. Men are on the edge of just giving up all together and saying F it. Of course this is all by design and it's been that design for at least the last 30 years. So many reasons why this is happening, too many to list but I am telling you first hand, it's not getting better, it's only getting worse so please men, ignore the societal pressures and focus on your own well being and mental health, you, your family and everyone around you will be better for it.

This is a very strange statement to make when it’s men who make life miserable for women and children die to child abuse, misogyny, slavery, war and genocide, terrible economic policies among other things. Anything that women do pales in comparison to that and to say otherwise is simply delusion. It logically follows that if we are supposed to believe that men are responsible for all the good things in life (they’re not), then they should also be held accountable for all of the bad things as well.
The only thing they really try to maintain is patriarchal values and that’s it. This “hatred” didn’t just suddenly come from nowhere: it’s centuries of suppressed rage and actually using social mechanisms to hold men accountable for their actions.

I have an almost 3 year old son that I wake up for every day and give the world to so I can make sure he grows up and knows his dad will be the best example for him. I don't want him growing up with a father like I had. His mom only cares about him when it is convenient for her and it can make her look good on social media, and he realizes that. Most kids immediately ask for their mom if they need anything, but he asks for me first. It hurts me that he does not call out for her, she is just as important in his life as I am.
Men are not ok. We hide all of our feelings, let things bottle up until we just explode because if we show an ounce of emotion we know it will be used against us by the ones we love. We put the entire weight of the world on our shoulders and carry it because we have to, no one else is going to give us a hand. We don't have friends that we can count on, we don't have a support system like women do. We dig in, keep plugging away at everything we need to in order to survive, and when it gets to be too much, it either kills us or something else does.

I am a high school teacher and I have learned over many years that the happiest, most well balanced and chilled lads are the ones who have a good close relationship with their fathers or with a father figure. So single mothers who undervalue the role of their child's father in the kid's life are just wrong. Also men who actually opt to not be involved in their kids' lives (and there are a distressingly large number of them) are arseholes. So those guys blaming feminism on all their problems might want to look at the other side of the problem. Fatherless sons.

    • @Jim-mp3og

I believe that Statement to be factual.
A father's good influence and relationship makes a big difference in the child's development.
But most of the time the good father's that have been divorced from the mother don't get to see the kid's or the children because the mother simply strips any rights or chance of the children and there father's being able to see one another on a regular basis, if at all any.
I think enough has been put on men and this anti-masculinity is just going way too far and it has been proven to be detrimental for society overall.
Women need to take some accountability and stop putting it all on the good men out there.

As someone who has looked into these issues as a journo, yes there are crap dads who don't want to be in their kids' lives but the majority of those who don't see their kids is because of WOMEN stopping them! Lord Justice Mundy - who was head of the Family Division of the courts in the UK - admitted that the courts favour women and do NOT enforce their own rulings in custody cases. This gives women carte blanche to push the father out of their kid's lives. This is known as Parental Alienation Syndrome or PAS. In some states in the USA, this is a recognised behaviour. The courts in those states WILL take a child from a mother and give sole custody to the father if she willfully stops the father from seeing their child. Combined with pre-divorce mandatory counselling before a divorce is granted has seen PAS cases drop dramatically!

sounds like You need a pastime Brother.
i turn fifty two next week and this summer is ten years celibate because overgrown little girls just don't cut the mustard for i.
i do Love the Peace and quite these days.
please don't get i wrong if an actual female grown into a woman shows up i will no longer be celibate but i am not holding i breath.
last summer i had been seeing a female doctor about cptsd which i have been living with since seventy seven age five when i broke down having finally opened up.
the contempt in her eyes told i clear she'd had her head in her knickers the whole time and she started a rumour that she is concerned i want to find her home and do the worst to her.
should have told her about i celibacy obviously.
if i name the worst then uboob will delete the comment.
i was raging as maybe You can imagine.
that cptsd is a result of violence inflicted upon i during childhood, as a result i keep contained a level of violence many can't handle.
if physically attacked of course i unleash but even then it is controlled.
one thing i started back in i teens and twenties was training in boxing gyms and such, that helped massively to learn to control the aggression especially boxing.
i am not a boxer by the way i am anti system and competition being the first tool of division i don't do it wherever possible with others.
but one thing i learned from the boxing gym is about how losing our temper initiates the fight or flight response causing our iq to drop a minimum of twenty two percent.
this is why we often say things which are completely out of character in the heat of an argument for instance.
anyway the rumour she started and the coward simps she has spreading it had i incensed beyond reason.
having ditched it maybe ten years ago i bought a target for the garden and picked up the bow again.
the first arrow i threw without setting the sights up and so i discovered traditional archery.
the level of focus required for throwing arrows without the modern add ons worked wonders it instantly calmed i mind because missing the target and possibly hitting a neighbour is unacceptable.
now i practice the ottoman archery techniques so for instance i can currently hold nine arrows in the draw hand to perform a technique known as "shower shooting".
think suppressive fire for medieval archers.
please forgive i the lengthy comment it is what it is.
but point being find something else to do with your time, set goals or targets but make them reasonable and You will no longer be feeling like a failure as a result when You achieve those goals.
and as for old dogs and new tricks?
      😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

I hope this doesn’t come off as a disingenuous attempt at “blanket evangelism” lol - I truly understand and identify with your point - but you aren’t the only person in the equation when it comes to the origin and substance of your thought patterns. Evil is not some concept that elbow-padded university types made up once were evolved enough to do so. If we all died tomorrow, evil would still exist. As would good. God is real, and as someone who struggled with the same (very perverse, very morbid) thought patterns, I can tell you that Jesus plucked it from me without lifting a finger. It’s not “old superstitious neighbor lady” feel-good stories. It’s actually true friend. I honestly pray for you and want you to experience what I did. A peace that surpasses understanding.

Like, closest my mom got was feeling down and wanting to run away, and a little better exercise and a bit of sleep and more sun helped her feel better, so she thinks the same thing will help my wife, who has attempted multiple times just since we've been married. I live in a car and sometimes weeks or even months pass by without speaking to anyone. Holidays pass by without me even realizing until days later, if at all. If I suddenly no longer existed, it's likely no one would even notice.
It wasn't always like this. I grew up very poor and in highly dysfunctional environments, but I always knew I wanted to be an engineer, so I made my way into college and worked really hard. I was on the Dean's List nearly every semester, tutored math up through multivariable calculus, qualified for Mensa, got my engineering degree, and graduated with honors. I really thought I had set myself up for a good life free from poverty.
That was almost 15 years ago. Unfortunately, the job I had lined up for after graduation fell through, and I never ended up getting a chance.
All of the things I dreamed of having in life have never been further away, and I've accepted that I will never have them. A life without connection or hope meaningless, so am I really alive?

A couple of years ago, I went to one of the counties psycho therapists for treatment. It lasted about 3 years. He was great.
In the waiting room, there were templates for "The woman's emergency room" Encouraging women to call in for support if they are in dangerous or abusive relationships.
There were also one templet for "the men's emergency room".
Encouraging men to call in if they are struggling with being the abuser or regulate their emotions.
I complained about this to my mom, and she said, isn't that what men are struggling with?
I told her you can't have 2 templates where one is victimising women and the other villainicing men. She had nothing to say about that.

It's a good thing that some of us listen to the men around us, because we value and love them very much. You'd be surprised how many of us women are willing to listen and try to understand what's going on. One should feel that way about one's partner, friend, brother, son and even dad. The few men in my life are here because I love them. The problem is, words are cheap and you're right Isaac, we should be helping each other as often as we can.

Ive grown up without a father all 22 years of my life with only a mother and its only really after being 22 that im starting to get my shit together. You need a decent role model for life or theres just a void of either discipline, punishment system or something to follow as a standard. Your environment affects every part of your life and its difficult to change. Not that mothers are bad parents but i dont think mothers alone can fit both roles if they want to or not and in the end it can end up being detrimental if not handled properly. Kids need guidance to be able to be the best person they can be from both parents

You need a father to tell you the truth. You need someone that will protect you and fight for you till you can stand on your two feet, but at the same time hurt you with the truth to keep you humble and avoid delusional behaviour with unconditional love and hold you accountable for your actions and behaviours. A father to teach you, guide you in both the written rules and the unwritten rules of our society and life. He should be able to provide you with a set of starting principles that will allow you to develop your character. You need to see and develop trust, and trust and respect can only be earned through actions. A father should be your first role model that will teach kindness, gentleness, patience, resilience and self control, while harnessing your aggression and savagery into productive pursuits( controlled aggression, empathy and sympathy towards those that wrong us )We have a lot of males in this society, but very few men. Fatherless males are dangerous in a society. A man that has nothing has nothing to fear. Study history and you will see what happens when you have large groups of young men without a purpose.

I’m not okay. I’m not okay at all. I haven’t been for way longer than I realized. Saturday, when watching one of the new best anime of the season, one of the characters was yelling at a goofy teacher and asking why he wouldn’t go away and the teacher said “I just can’t leave you alone.” And before I realized it, there was a tear running down my cheek. And when I did realize it, I began to sob. Because it made me realize how lonely I am. How for years I’ve kept everyone at arms length and even my closest friends I haven’t trusted implicitly this whole time. I’ve been betrayed so many times, so I made myself have the coldest heart i could while trusting nobody and believing that they’d leave too. I had people around me, but I was so utterly and devastatingly lonely this whole time.

I’m really sorry to hear that, loneliness can be crippling. You deserve to be loved and have people you trust be close to you. Introspection is a valuable tool and it sounds like you are learning to understand yourself better. I really hope you can get to a place where you can feel more love and inclusion if that is what you need x

We’re not okay and no, we don’t want to talk about it with our ladies and we’ve got no friends to confide in.
I’m sitting here, listening to podcasts (this dude makes me laugh), I’m at work (from home), with two partially torn rotator cuffs, a cold (thanks to my work trip last week) and now a migraine (I need that right now like I need an infected scrotum). Even my wife, who I consider one of the best, most compassionate women I’ve ever met has started getting snippy about me not helping out more this last weekend. I spent all Saturday working around the house and Sunday I just couldn’t, the pain was just too much and I couldn’t get a full breath.
Man, no one gives a shit. A man’s job is to suck it up and work until we collapse. God forbid we ever show weakness or pain or take a recovery day.

Sometimes it hurts too much knowing how short and skinny I am and how broken my heart is and how sad I am and how I've let my teeth go just not caring anymore and how as soon as I start talking to someone and they seem if anything superficially interested I immediately remind myself of what they don't want. What they don't need. And I'm both. I try to just be alright, and I thought going to work every day is going to help, but it's hard to escape. Every day I'm reminded of why I'm so quiet lol.

You need to tell that voice in your head (the devil, if you will) to shut the fvck up. Tongue in cheek.
Those thoughts don't serve you, and are taking you out of what could otherwise be a peaceful state of being.
You are rejecting yourself before others even have the chance to. You're right, no one wants someone who hates themselves, it is very hard for such a person to have a healthy relationship because they will tend to grasp or abuse. (Though not impossible with sufficient self-awareness.)
As for short and skinny, poor, whatever else? That's all you. (I know you will point to the Internet or perhaps a few interactions with NPCs who mocked you for being whatever label.)
You create your reality. Don't let other people dictate it for you. I guarantee you that if your thoughts change, your life will change because your actions and behaviors will change. You will find whatever you are looking for and it will be way better than anything you could possibly imagine. AND you will still be short, and perhaps even skinny or whatever else.
This isn't woo or feel good BS. This is how the world works. Change your thoughts. It's not a race. The rest will follow.
      Or don't.
