mbt makes a deck with combos and pendulums to outgrind anyone while dzeeff goes great angus has great in the name and wins with skilldrainless skilldrain beatdown and wins easily

I’ve heard it speculated that this could actually be an event format in Master Duel which is why you can’t dismantle the Legacy packs, will be so janky if it happens.
It would be absolutely awful to make a deck for that event
I think the answer is far simpler, Konami doesnt wants so much free materials in the game.
I already built like 2 UR/SR heavy decks by playing ftp, if I could dismantle my legacy UR, I would have already finished my Thunder Dragon deck
@@suezuccati304 this is obviously what it is, were people confused why you couldn't dismantle? the things you summon with gems whether you got them for free or not can be dismantled because you spent gems on it, same as the pass when you buy it giving dust you buy it with gems, but legacy packs are literally free in every way and Konami is not going to give you free gemless dust.

Rocket hand is a nutty card in sealed formats I ran that card during the N/R event and it was really good. People where sleeping on that card during that event so it gave me some ez wins.
Tbf there are some other really good cards, you gotta ask yourself if rocket hand is better than stuff like lost wind torrential, chalice, fiendish chain, paleos, book, the pk traps,...

When I saw Satellite Cannon, I was really hoping it would end up being used for the memes. But as shitty as the Legacy packs are, there was no conceivable way that there wouldn't be plenty of ways around Satellite Cannon. Even if it had enough time to grow big enough to not be threatened by any Xyzs and Links available, just from Dzeef's pulls alone, the monarchs, fissure, blowback dragon, raigeki break, rocket hand, even something as jank as Savage Colosseum, among other things, are all proof that trying for a Satellite Cannon kill is akin to suicide. :'(

There is no reason to have Poly in legacy packs. I believe poly is in one of the starter decks.

Dzeef and MBT should do a series to who can reach the highest rank with a specific theme deck, for example lets say the theme was an only normal monster for the main deck theme and they only have 4 hours to rank as much as they can and who ever gets the highest rank within that time wins and if they both reach plat 1 whoever got their the quickest wins then if for some impossible situation that they reach plat 1 at the same time they have to duel each other to see who wins.
I loved this episode the most, to be honest, because it forced you guys to choose from some really wack cards and come up with whatever synergies you could find and yet didn't have too busted staples or anything. I wold kinda be excited to see more Legacy Pack duels a few times
We really need this series to continue. It's pretty fun.

Usually in old yugioh you would have lines and combos, because your deck isn't normaly randomly assembled from konami's garbage heap.

Well while still not close to 400, you can get some through solo mode stuff and regular rewards from duels and PS Plus People were at least given 50 free Legacy Packs to download at least.
I actully got a Jinzo in a Legacy Pack in Master Duel last night, but I have opened FAR more than 400 packs... I would say I am probably closer to 2000 Legacy packs opened across 4 platforms

surprised yall didnt just use ygopro to play with as well, i would think most people wouldn't be too concerned with it being within master duel but maybe im wrong
Master Duel doesnt let you cheat and actually helps you to know when to activate certain cards, which is better when both players are using cards that no one in their sane mind would use in a meta deck nowadays

Jokes aside (since there were plenty of normals played), I would like to see some modern support that *aren't* retrains that let Normal monsters cut back into the game. Like stuff that shuts down enemy effects and stuff but only if you control normal monsters, lower tribute costs for normals in certain circumstances, and then some powerful spells and traps to protects normal cards or something. Really make Normal monsters try and force you into playing beat-stick YGO, but with some other advantages if they go against the powerful effect monsters. Probably not direct attack though? (Too much like Toons.)

I don't understand the legacy packs. Those cards are awful. They should dith the legacy packs and give all the cards from the beginning. And the fact you cant disenchant them is outrageous.

To open 400 legacy packs in game you could just open them on your main and record so you know what cards you just opened.
