Price is definitely right. So many of its competitors would be easily double or triple the price. Be curious to see if the producer adds a wider array of colors in the future.
I have used a leather notebook cover that size for years. Mine is the old style travellers' notebook cover with the elastic that holds up to three notebooks and also has an elastic that sits around the middle keeping it closed while carrying it. Mine has no inside pen loops or flaps to tuck cards or receipts. I still love it though, as simple as it is. I've thought of making my own inserts, but I don't know if I could make them to the same quality as the Midori inserts I've been using for the last four years. I am going to take a peek over on Amazon to see what the variety and prices are now of the notebooks. I'll stick with the cover I have now because I love the patina and little scratches that have developed over the years.
Interesting review. I think the cover would benefit from skived edges and the pen holder being placed on the outer edge. It also could be either larger or use elastic to be more usable. On the upside, it looks sturdy and will only gain with patina. Thanks, Chris.

Nice change of pace, Chris. Journals and paper are as important to the experience as the pen.

Thanks for the suggestions. I agree.
More reasonably priced than many I've seen. Though I don't know what I would use it for right now, it is worth remembering. Thanks for sharing this!
Glad it was helpful!
Wouldn't you use it as a notebook cover?
@@nickturner2813 That's kind of the thing. I don't have any notebooks, nor a need for them, right now. Maybe soon, but right now? No.
I corrected title. That is the correct description.
Thank you for your video!
