    To everyone ranting about the battery health: its just in case of emergency.
    it is for 15 mins to have a "single self" affer the car starts, stop charging it with the adopter and install the wires from car and let the alternator charge it.

      nothing else, the charger is in case of emergency, it should not be used every day, because if daily charging is a sign that the battery is no longer in good condition and you will have to replace it soon. GREETINGS AND BLESSINGS

    • @thechum9653
      @thechum9653 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      12.9 is a fully charged battery. Correct they do have more wires/sensors but they also have led lights and such that take less amperage. Not just headlights, but dash lights and such that turn on as soon as you put key in. That makes up for it. However the sensor draw and led draw is almost insignificant to what it needs to crank engine over. I wouldn’t worry abt it

      Every car has something called an alternator. You need to charge for 10 minutes, enough to start the car and then go on a 10-15 minute drive and the battery should charge itself after that, it's a matter of charging time while driving

    • @supernoob2542
      @supernoob2542 ปีที่แล้ว

      Now, if after this the car still does not start the next day or the same day, you need to check for electrical leakage in the car and of course the alternator

    But the charger is 18V and the battery is 12.3V, won't the charger damage the battery over time?

    • @myketutoriales
      @myketutoriales  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I recommend one of 13 to 18 Volts and 2 to 4 Amps, not only the voltage matters but also the amperage, you can have one of 12 to 13 V but if it is 4 to 6 amps it can damage a cell because it will charge it too much. fast and it should not be like that, they should be charged at a slow charge of 2A which is correct, here is another video with a 12V and 2A charger GREETINGS AND BLESSINGS

    Hey I saw in another video that the guy explained there should be a 12 volts, 21 watt lamp in between the positive cable before going to the red pole; but you managed to do that without the need of that lamp. I don't understand the logic behind your work is it some thing different? Is the battery of your car stronger in some way? I would really appreciated that if you answer my question. Thanks in advanced.

    • @tickyul
      @tickyul 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sajjad Hoviegar Many power-supplies of this type have overcurrent
      protection.......if the supply output goes over a certain amperage, the
      power-supply will shut off. So it really depends on your specific supply.

    • @seanmckay3392
      @seanmckay3392 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The lamp is stupid its just lowering the output voltage going to the battery so the battery does not get hurt but either way it really does not matter its pretty hard to hurt a lead acid battery

      19V is too much. 14V is ideal. I bet it works but you could damage or degrade your battery. You must stop charging at the right time too. A multimeter and a resistor (eg lightbulb) you can do it proper but its kinda dangerous if you don't know what you're doing. Both the battery and charger have some lethal current.

    • @saupham8192
      @saupham8192 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Add a 14v zener diode or add 3 regular diodes then the voltage will be dropped 19.30 - 2.1=17.2 volt. Each diode voltage is .7volt.

    This scenario is only for emergency. And ..a laptop adapter costs way more than a car battery charger (the ones with 20Amps -280Watts) I just got one for $60). Normal small car battery charger gives around 5-6-8 Amps which is very slow for a car battery (that's why they are so cheap) . And a laptop supply is just 65W ..again...sloww.:) ..But for emergency if don't have anything else around....ok. But usually people who do staff like this never go anywhere with bare feet. I always, for example have a charger in my car aand a jump starter:) Cheers:)
