I think others have failed to mention this part lol 6:29 I haven't tried it yet but I've restored my phone like this and it still asks for the passcode and I have not a clue what it is because the previous passcodes I used weren't correct so I'll try that and hopefully it'll unlock. I didn't know you had to put in your apple ID

Quick way of doing it
plug the big side of your iphone wire into your computer
push the side button and both the volume buttons, then press turn off.
then as soon as it turns of
plug the other side of the cable into your phone and then keep your finger pushed on the side button where you turn your phone off

You should try this tutorial, chances are, you might've forgotten your password but didn't realize it. Or, it could be an iOS bug, in which you would still have to do this.

You don't need the computer if you didn't forget your password, just go to settings, then general, then reset, then press "Erase All Content And Settings," now, follow the on-screen instructions, and you should be good to go.

I have an iPhone 11 that I was allowed to keep from my previous job. I don't have the AppleID password (it was a complex keepass generated phrase that I didn't back up) associated with the phone. I don't have access to the email address because it has be disabled as I'm no longer part of the company nor do do I have access to the phone number as the SIM card has been disabled as well. Is there a way I can factory reset that phone? If I go to an Apple Store will they be able to do something?
