His drawings actually improved much more with the drawing tablet, I'm sad he kept complaining about it, it's a learning curve, and he can finally draw lines and curves way better, some tablets are better than others but they gotta understand it's not just the tablet that somehow makes you a genius at drawing, its your own skill. The fact that they think they can magically draw better with a tablet is sad bc they blame the tablet, it takes a looot of time to adjust to, and finding your art style takes a while too, and as I like to call it "artists syndrome" when you believe your own art sucks no matter how well you might have drawn it gets hard to overcome too, so no it's not always the tablets fault and ghoostie isn't amazing at art just because he has a tablet 😭😭 it's not just the tablet
@@ivymay9183 This type of tablet is like track pad. You draw on it and result see on screen (you have to look at screen). I think it is the cheapest tablet so you can't expect too much but still for beginners I think is enough.

Drawing on a tablet like that is hell even for professional artists, at least when starting: it's a completely different way of working, after all. It just takes time to get used to it, but the improvement on the Nemesis was incredible, even after just mixing up the drawing process a little. :D

TOONZ! Buy a "kamvas 13" made by huion. Its $250 but its a full display tablet and its amazing. The price is great, the functionality is great, and i personally use it for graphic design and 3d sculpting. Iv used it for professional jobs and hobbies. Remember the "KAMVAS 13"
The drawing tablet is more about muscle memory for it to become useful, I’d recommend just scribbling around in MS Paint to learn. I remember having one of those tiny tablets to start, then I finally upgraded to a Wacom Intuos Medium tablet. But now I do all my work on my iPad and it’s so nice

May not see this but to help with your size on the drawing tablet. Once installing the drivers for it off of its website you can use it's application to "map" it out. This will make the entire tablet fit the single monitor or even 2 or more monitors which I don't suggest XD
idk how to say this but uhhh you can adjust the portion of the screen that the drawing tablet occupies/controls. so like, you can so that when you're on chrome or w/e, the gartic phone drawing area corresponds to the entire tablet. also, it does take a long time to get acclimated to using one, esp one with no screen

I use a gaomon M10K2018 from amazon. It works pretty well, even comes with a glove you can wear to avoid it picking up your hand. ^-^ It's like $60 however, but there are cheaper ones! Hopefully this helps
Honestly really validating as a professional artist to see someone casually buy a tablet and realize there’s atleast a bit of a learning curve to get the hang of that hand eye screen disconnect.
that kind of tablet is hard to use. it took me months before I could get used to using that. If you want to get a better drawing feel, just get one of those with screen, but those are a bit costly. Also... wacom can be a bit expensive when it comes to drawing tablets, but very recommended by digital artists. just a little bit of practice Toonz, I know you can get used in using those :D

Just a bit of advice, drawing tablets are a bit tricky to get use to, but once you adjust to it, it becomes easier (like anything in life).
