Well I pulled this up looking for help with the tandem version of this.... i have steelshot too. Backordered from February... just got it last week. Spring 2023.
If those are the bearings that came with the kit, there is no need to grease them at all. You cannot get grease into that type of bearing and they are pre-greased. Just seal off the hole.
I made an electric bicycle drawn camper wagon, with this Frame and you can see it on my TH-cam channel... one of my axle ends had a burr in it from shipping damage but I just filed It Off... I've been running its stock and I always grease it... So far no troubles but I wouldn't mind being able to get a better set of wheels from farm-tuff at some point... Rather than trying to find a replacement with the right dimensions,
Let me guess did you end up sending it back? I guess this is what we get for dealing with the Chinese through the Canadians... And I thought it was made in Canada... I may have to give them a call myself... At least to Northern
I kept it. Like I said in the video I ended up sealing the grease system with silicone. I'll replace bearings when they go bad. My guess is the frame is made in Canada, but they order the wheel/rim assembly from China. Other then that it's been working great.

My experience was 4 front tires in 9 days, and yes i did front end alignment ,3 times.

Hey do you happen to remember what the axel diameter is? I'd pull it off to measure but I'm low on cotter pins
How much do you pay for and where did you bought it?
Thanks for this
Any luck yet?
