The Phalanx by Highwind Amplification has a ground lift switch on the front of the noise gate. However, the Spectral Gate works better for clamping down the type of squealing noise I tend to generate in my signal chain. I don't have a Key and the Gate, but I do have the TDW pedal which has a key and gate noise gate integrated into the pedal, and it's pretty damn good.
I am really big on a 2 gate set up. I have tried many in the 4 cable method. I need to have different settings for the front of amp gate and the loop gate. Great comparison of these.
I would look at the isp hum extractor with the decimator or the decimator g rack. Each has 2 channels for that application instead of 2 different gate pedals.
This. I am using a Precision Drive (cl*ne) in the front of my amp (or preamp for that matter) with a TC Sentry in the loop. When I switch to my lead sound the TC Sentry is taken out of the signal path so it won't cut sustain etc., and only the first (less aggressive) gate is active. When I switch to my clean sound both are taken out of the signal path. This is great because you can more adjust depending on your setup, guitar, etc with more flexibility. I'm using a Disaster Area DPC5 loop switcher btw.
the Highwind Phalanx also has a ground lift and threshold switch but on the outside of the pedal
The new version of the Key and the Gate has a response switch under the threshold knob
Is that the Southern Oracle I saw a pic of the other day?
Nah - the Oracle will be something else once it’s out 🙂

I totally forgot about the Phalanx. I need to get mine from storage now.
@@thatsoundsterrible oh yes shootout with key and gate

Fortin Zull+ have a ground lift switch. ISP Hum Extractor + Decimator and KMA Pylon have one too.
Very cool, I didn’t know that many also included them. Thanks for the info!
