Hi Mogi! Just wanted to say thank you for sharing with us! I feel like it's pretty vulnerable to be sharing numbers like you are but I feel like you're being so realistic and it helps us smaller resellers be realistic and relate as well 🤍
I don’t look at monthly sales. I look at monthly profit after cost of goods. My current goal is to profit 5K/month without spending more than $500 per month on new inventory. I’m pretty sure I spend more than that on inventory currently so I really need to do a better job of tracking that. I probably list about 250-300 items per month. I no longer push myself to list a certain number every day. Some days I just let Posher VA relist items, and other days I can list 20+ new items. Definitely a goal I have this year is to give myself a weekend. I can and will work everyday because I like reselling, but I know I need to give myself some time off to go to the movies or Netflix and chill. I have to tell myself, “it’s okay to turn off.”
@@camilamercado4565yes, there’s a delist relist feature, I think it’s in the middle column towards the bottom. I generally set mine to do 20 items a day that are older than 60 days. But I think the recent update lets you do that with newer listings too and they still show up as “new”
Just started using over the ear headphones to keep my wandering brain 🧠 busy while doing monotonous tasks. Helps me keep my house clean and get some of my reselling done without getting too bored and trying to move on to something else.
My 2024 goal is to list 10 items daily, sell 200+ items monthly and gross over $3000 month. With 3300 available listings, my focus is on increasing sell-through. I've hit a plateau of $2500 month and need to ramp that up 20%. I tend to price high so I have a lot of wiggle room to discount and accept low offers. My average sale is $45 with an average COG $5.
I store shoes the same way you do, but I use blue painters tape on one side and shipping tape on the other. That way if the shoes in the box sell in a bundle, I can add items into the box with them, or take them out and reuse the box for another pair. I also like to double check they're the right pair before shipping so I just take the painters tape off the one side, and tape that side with packing tape before shipping.
i have 4 boys ..Just had a baby 18 months ago and I was able to do 10 a day I had a great little baby that liked to shop with me. Fast forward to today I had another one LOL..2 under 2 is another beast. I can not shop, I cant list I cant do much. I have the same goals as you with how much I would like to make. I am going to try really hard to get to the 10 listing a day mark. I Was doing really well doing the 10 a day and I really want to get back to that.
North Carolina supporter here! I’d say you’re missing a lot….but I’d highly suggest the NE rather than SE 😂❤ Although if you ever visit, you’re always welcome! 🙏🏼 Also…I enjoyed hearing you say you’re a 6 figure reseller and I hated to hear when you said people were hating on that! So proud of you! 😊
All the Light we Cannot See is my favorite book EVER!!! I read it on my honeymoon in 2014 and again a few years ago. Can’t wait to watch the adaptation. Read his newest book, Cloud Cuckoo Land!!! Very different but wow so creative and amazing!!!!
Thank you for sharing your goals and the specific numbers, it's interesting! Would you be able to share the formula or the numbers you use to project your future numbers/goals? I'm terrible at math so it would be super helpful!
Relist older items by sell similar so they become new listings that’s eBay not sure about poshmark I watch other TH-camrs that resell and they do that.
Great video. I have been doing the same to try and figure out my goals for this year. I need to make a few thousand a month and list 5-10 items a day but my problem is, I still have to go find inventory. I seem to always run out of things and it takes so much time to find things at goodwill. I have to take off a couple of days each week just to shop because I also check places like Ross or Marshals for clearance items. And there are days where I just can't seem to find anything I like.
Isn't it amazing when you look at real numbers to figure out how much you need to list to get the amount you want to have sold each month how much that motivates a person to be more productive to see those numbers happen. My goal is $2000 a month
Honestly no idea how you afford office with these numbers. I understand it is not your only source of income but making 5 1/2 thousand a month and renting open space just doesn’t make sense for me
@@Vanilla_29 I said it’s understandable she has other sources of income but for regular reseller making that little (to nowadays) profit and having office is simply not possible.
I'm probably the only reseller who prefers having my entire inventory (3300+ items) in my home. I live in a big loft space and love being able to work whenever. No commute, no rental fee and I know where every item is stored. I considered moving to a larger space and/or getting a storage unit but I'm way too cheap and lazy for that!
My 2024 goal is to list 5 items daily! My goal is 700 hundred monthly

Can you share the formula you are using to calculate how many listings you need to do for a set sales goal??

What size zip lock bags do you use? I “assumed” they were gallon, but realized after buying a bunch they aren’t as big as yours.🤦🏼♀️

Of course she can cause of the TH-cam money. It’s pretty obvious from the amount of views she gets.
Aaaaand this is why I could never relocate away from my middle of nowhere home.. 5.5k/month is bonkers money.

Love the videos/vlogs. Hope you NEVER stop them. It’s like we are having a conversation, you talk, I listen 🤣
Excellent book right!!!!
Thank you for my bundle!! Yay
I hope that I didn’t low ball you too much. Thanks for accepting!
Bundles are the best! Great picks. I thought about buying the top. Hope you love it !
I watched the Netflix mini series and it was soooo good
