I watched your full build video on this one today. I followed along with my first ever build on a HIBI June R2. Thank you! It felt a bit like "helping" my older brother work on his cars when I was a kid, fumbling along beside him. Now I have a nice keyboard for writing my thesis.
Hate the layout and my prediction of collecting dust and lint was right, but it's done so well that I want an FRL version. Glad to see the real creativity that was behind Rama shine.
I love seeing keyboards built out of interesting materials! There were the concrete and engineered stone boards from EU, glass Freja65, and a couple different wood case makers. June is probably something I want to pick up eventually
I do love the idea of this board, but I don't think I could get over my experiences with dust and lingering odors from silicone coffee cups and ice cube trays that pushed me to avoid silicone products for at least those applications. It seems like it could be a cool, fun travel board, but I worry that the seating of the metal standoffs in the silicone case may be a little too fragile with a lot of wear and tear from moving the board around a lot. Probably would be a great board if it's kept on a single desk most of the time though! Hope to see this in person at a meetup someday.
I like it. Still having trouble getting used to the 60%, but this does look like something I can pick up for fun. The Monster Fuzz purple looks even more fun :3
I don't think I could do a 60% as a daily but this board is soooo cute. I wonder if the case being silicone is partially why the price point is able to be so low? I'm assuming silicone molds would be easier to manufacture.
Eh, not for me. 60%, silicone, tray mount, wired only, and still $130 all are not appealing for me in this market. Especially when something like a Neo65 is coming out in the coming weeks.

A cute keyboard for a mad cute man
Oh man im BLUSHING.
it's true!
It's really amazing how tray mount keyboards can still sound really great. The June and Salvation are both testaments to that.
Yeah I was not expecting that sound from a silicone keyboard

Man this would be so perfect as a 65%. LOVE that sound.
I have the monster fuzz version and it just sounds and feels pretty fun for a traymount.

Do you think the Hibi June keyboard would pair well with the Cerakeys ceramic keycaps?
I love it 😍
Hey Alex, did you receive your neo65 review unit yet? Definitely looking forward to see how you work your magic on yet another budget kit.
Wish the pcp was also purple for the purple case

Believe in yourself! Layering arrows is better than moving your hand, trust

it seems like the days of budget boards relying on foam is over

it reminds me of lady fingers

HOW DARE YOU LEAVE THE SPANK OUT OF THE VIDEO!!!!!!!!
Does the pcb already come hotswappable or do you have to solder the hot swap sockets?
Those matching hotswap sockets that Alex was showing off come with the PCB :)
