Been looking at this but I really don't like the company's practices. They originally sold this for €29 euros when you bought it last year. They since raised the price 2x to €59 and then even to as high as €75 when it is low in stock on eg. Amazon. The design and quality hasn't changed 1% either so they are just milking the popularity. It's a good journal but selling the brown for 50% more than the black and blue is just pure greed. For this reason I would highly recommend instead Tintris or Diodrio journal covers which are exactly the same thing for 1/3rd of the price.
Ironically, a big part of why companies start charging more is precisely because of Amazon-only brands like Tintris and Diodrio who just blatantly copy the hard work/innovation of existing brands and then undercut them on price in order to steal customers. The brand Whittin did the same exact thing to Vibram FiveFingers. I would rather pay a premium for a unique, high quality product that someone put love and creativity into, rather than support a lazy/dishonest Amazon brand.
@@AndrewFolts Except it clearly ISN'T a unique high quality product at all. Especially if it can be copied so cheaply and easily. As I said, it started off at $29 bucks. Lochby is selling the brown one themselves on Amazon now for 50% more than the Black or Blue (It is literally 79 euros). Why? Simply because that colour is more desirable to buyers. That's jsut greed. If Diodrio can sell theirs for $16 dollars literally. How can you support a company like Lochby doubling their prices and then doubling it again just because they now have competition? Granted there are tons of lousy knockoffs but Tiniris and Diodrio are actually extremely good quality, at least as good as Lochby. Remember that competition is literally what forces companies to be more sustainable and to make even better products. So really your argument is extremely weak.

Handy for my phone I'm always getting soaked out running and walking 😍 I really love that poncho too 😬😂
Imagine if Lochby and Jack Stillman did a collab where they made a waxed canvas journal poncho with a little hood, ha!
@@AndrewFolts 🤣 brilliant!
Are the two pockets not for each side of the journal? So when you unzip and open it, it just opens the journal. That's what I do with it lol
Probably, but I found the cover too soft for writing on, so I always take the notebook out and write on a desk or something, then put it back in.
