This is a plausible one because he ALMOST didn't cut down the younglings in Revenge of the Sith.
Yeah, and the ONLY reason he DID go through with it was because he was convinced that it was some form of euthenasia. That every other possible future would have been "worse" for them. Still shouldn't have done it, though.

Anakin taught the 501st everything he knew. If he stood against them and the Clones fired at him, Anakin would have won eventually but it would take being extremely careful.
The diplomatic way would of told them to stand down since the 501st are his men and they knew not to fire at Anakin do to their Chips
I find it hard to believe that Sidious, who was disarmed by Yoda alone (or at least forced to fall back on his force abilities, as he had no chance to win the fight in a lightsaber duel), would perform better with 2 more strong duelists against him present. From what we have seen in the extended material from Episode 3, he already had high difficulty to defend himself against Fisto and Windu at once.
Other than that, the story is quite plausible.
Palpatine would defiantly lose to them but it’s just a question of he long he lasts, based on how he fought in episode 3 against 4 Jedi masters I think he would do pretty good against Yoda, Anakin and Obi, but he would still die
@@FantasyFolklore the difference is the 4 masters aren’t as good as Obi, Ani and Yoda. Yoda alone is stronger than all 4 masters and Obi and Ani together are stronger then them. So Yoda, Ani and Obi would destroy sidious together
@@brokenknight4938well Obi wan is stronger than the 3 jedi masters combined minus windu. Obi and anakin is the equivalent of mace in dueling. And Yoda anakin and Obi wan is the equivalent of yoda and windu. It only took windu to defeat sidious so he would get destroyed

@@KingslayaJ they don’t sweep, windu was still a force to be reckoned with the equal of Dooku who could hold up to both ani and obi, I think by the end of the film Kenobi surpasses Windu without his massive Vapaad amp and the same with anakin. The problem in a 2v1 of those two versus Windu is Anakin’s rage would amp windu to a point of beating Obi and then anakin
Later on Ben Kenobi and Mustafar Kenobi would beat Windu 1v1 same with Vader on Mustafar or in the suit.
If you think about it, Yoda was just holding the order by a thread, an already corrupted one at that...but if Yoda die prematurely the order would most probably go into darkness itself.

@@decepticonxhunter4850 not much if you remember how Windu was willing to literally take control over the Republic for a short period of time that could easily prolong if convinced the council and kept fooling the senate, after all they would have Kill the supreme chancelor and at that time being a sith was not even a crime and for the whole galaxy he made the Republic win the war after all.

Yeaaaahhhhhh… no. This is the difference between peace times and war. During the times of peace before the clone wars, the Jedi could afford to be “peace keepers” since the republic and the order were the largest and only governing bodies in the galaxy. They could just go around and talk out the issues. But when the clone wars started especially with palpatine pulling the strings and shutting down all possible peace talks or agreements the Jedi were forced into war. War changes what you have to do, you gotta get a bit violent to win. The Jedi had to change their ways. I wouldn’t call them “corrupt”. More like they had to adapt to the situation of an inevitable war. Had palatine not initiated the clone wars or hand not been pulling strings. The whole clone wars most likely never would have happened. So corrupted? Nah. And I wouldn’t go as far as to say they were falling into darkness. Blinded by the dark side at times? Yes.

Obi Wan would’ve been absolutely heartbroken after killing Sidious and seeing Anakin was dead. I could see him cradling his old student in his arms in tears

I don’t think palpetine could gain the upper hand on all three obi wan yoda and anikan just because Of all of there powers combined especially with yoda 800 years but I still think this a fantastic story
See I would disagree because anakin was the chosen meaning he would destroy the sith. And I’m a way he did in this story. So they had the upper hand against sidious

In an alternate timeline I would like to think Anakin hesitated killing children after the thought of him soon to become a father of children crosses his mind.
Yoda stalemates Sidious but now, somehow, he overwhelms them? If Sidious couldn't knock out Yoda the first time, why would he be able to now? In reality, being paired against the Grandmaster and two of the best duelists of the Order would mean a quick death sentence for Palpatine. However, I liked the ending. Good job!
At least Anakin would think about the Younglings since he himself was going to be a father soon despite the whole save Padme thing he was on about,

Good. Considering that Mace Windu practically won against Sidious and Yoda wasn't far from winning, i think the 3 Jedi would be able to defeat Sidious, without loss. But for the story, adding this drama is actually very good.

Nah, it ruined it. The moment "Anakin was killed blah blah blah" I couldn't keep taking it seriously. It's not that he's immortal, but considering the lore it's unrealistic that Sidious would kill any of them when faced against the three at once, even as he was defeated by Mace Windu and only managed to murder him thanks to Anakin's betrayal.

What if Palpatine was a member of the Je'daii Order instead of a sith. Working to restore try balance to the force.
Obi-Wan would still warn other Jedi to stay away for a while whilst tbe Clones were still out to kill them. Then they needed to gather somewhere else, realising the dangers being connected to the government had been, and burying Anakin there to anchor the Jedi to that place. The location of the grave of the Chosen One would be holy and sacret to the Jedi. One who fell and then redeemed and sacrificed himself to bring balance to the Force. A place of hope and a warning.
Thee choosen one can't die.

What if instead of killing the younglings, Palpatine had Anakin round up the younglings and take them to be trained as Sith?
Inquisitors, not Sith. Palpatine wouldn't have allowed for Vader to teach multiple Sith for fear of being overthrown by them.
I honestly dont think Palpatine would had killed Anakin. The three would`ve been to powerful together. Yoda almost won, and then with the chosen one and an exellent dualist I think Palpatine would`ve failed.

What happened to Luke and Leia, doesn’t really feel like a conclusion? Interesting story, a very plausible one too, many people make really far fetched what if’s, but this one I could’ve seen actually happening if Anakin really thought about what he was doing. His canon fall to me felt a little weak, after facing Windu and thinking he couldn’t go back after one mistake.

Alright, I get that palpatine was most likely the most powerful and skilled sith of all time. But cmon, I think him being THIS much of an issue for not only master yoda, but also ANAKIN AND OBI WAN is a bit much. I could see siddious running away or fleeing or perhaps stalling until he could get some gaurds in there to help him, but fending them off? Idk man that’s a bit rich. Even siddious would lose that.

What if Palpatine Had Never Been granted emergency powers?

Palpatine is an absolutely terrible duelist in the movie. There is no good reason for his wild random movements to work except for the will of the Force itself. So, my head canon is that Palpatine simply throws himself wildly into the Force and allows it to guide his movements as it will. The real reason is that the actor had never used a lightsaber before being asked to do that scene. He had no idea what he was doing or how to make it look convincing. I know that in Legends, he's a master of all saber forms, but he doesn't act like it. I find it easier to accept that his chaotic movements and improbable survival are just letting the Dark Side guide him through combat.
Anakin was doomed the very second he was responsible for Mace Window's death. Anakin knew right then the reality of that when he said "what have I done" There was no turning back at that point so yeah, Anakin turned to the dark side!

Remember that Maul is a better duelist than Palp, (evidence is in clone wars, when Palpatine is forced to use the force to beat Maul,) and mid combat (Ahsoka vs Maul,) Ahsoka makes the assessment that Anakin would have already killed Maul if he had dueled him. While he wasn’t going all-out (since he still wanted to convert her,) she wasn’t trying to kill him either, and was clearly trying to wear him out. So if Anakin is a greater duelist, and has more raw power in the force, there is no way Palpatine has a hope against the combined forces of Anakin, Yoda, and Obiwan.
Maul is not a better duelist that Palpatine I'm sorry. He used the force because he didn't want to kill him, he had other uses for him.

Anyways, I'll throw my two cents in for this. Going with how your theory ends, the Jedi order would have most certainly been exiled from Coruscant. For years, Palpatine was secretly grooming the people of the galaxy that the war was because of the Jedi. With Palpatine "assasinated", shit would have hit the fan for the Jedi. The republic didn't know or really care about what a Sith is, all they cared about was that Palpatine was just assasinted. If the Jedi were not all but purged, they'd be exiled and have to prove that Palpatine was behind the Clone Wars and not them. Only then would the Jedi be able to slowly build trust back with the people of the galaxy, but probably not on Coruscant.
